General update to their potential growth plans...
- Likelihood that A321LR aircraft will fly new routes from London (presumably Stansted)
- Consideration of an airport outside of London "to the west" for transatlantic services
- Manchester not currently in the running for transatlantic
- Boeing 737 Max's likely to be used between Continental Europe and Asia, the near East plus possibly Cape Verde and Mombasa

Cardiff would need onward connections to stand a chance and a lot of advertising in the US and a lot of cheap prices!
Bristol is one of the richest areas in the UK and has the catchment area of the whole of the Southwest UK but Heathrow is only 90 mins down the road for a large part of the area. It could work from Bristol.

I think if I were the managements of either CWL or BRS I'd not be offering any special deals to Primera, however wonderful their TATL plans may look. Obviously they couldn't stop this shower from opening routes, but encouraging them to do so? That looks like a recipe for throwing away money.

So either another 3000ft of tarmac at SOU, or a C17. Sounds like a commercial success is on the cards!!

I would take Primera at NCL. Loads were decent on UAL but the route was never going to survive on a old 757. Toronto used to be a summer destination for years until air transat pulled it.

Primera have taken a battering in terms of performance at BHX, but BHX aside and looking at now and the future, how is the performance doing for STN?
From what I can see the current LH schedule stands at:
Stansted
STN - YYZ
Summer - Tu, Th, Sa until 23rd Aug when it slowly increases on certain days and goes Tues-Sun from 11th Sep until Oct 30th
Winter - Drops back to Tu, Th, Sa until March 19
STN-BOS
Mo, We, Fr, Su until Oct 18, not on sale for Winter
STN-IAD
Summer (Starts 22nd August) Mo, Tu, Th, Sa until 29th Oct (With the odd extra days end of Aug/Start Sept)
Winter - Switches to Mo, We, Sa until 14th Dec where Fr flight commences in addition until end of March
STN-EWR - Daily both Summer and Winter until end of March.
Aircraft needed - 2 until end of Aug, increasing to 3 from end of August.
Paris CDG
CDG-BOS - Tu, Th, Sat until end of Oct, not on sale for Winter
CDG-EWR - Mo, We, Fr, Su until 14th August where it becomes daily until end of March. Interesting to note up to 14th August some flights are showing fully booked or "less than 4 seats"
CDG-YYZ - Mo, We, Fr, Su until end of Oct then Mo, We, Fr from Nov-Mar
CDG-YUL - Commences 28th Oct Tu, Th, Sa, Su until end of March
Aircraft needed - 2 but 1 only appears to be used Mo, We, Fr, Su (??) not including TLV below.
CDG-TLV - Daily from end of Oct until March (Depending on aircraft used)
Given that they are supposed to be receiving 8 A321's (6x neo + 2LR) in 2018, albeit now delayed they are going to have to quickly come up with a backup plan to replace the BHX operation and utilise the remaining 3 aircraft. Up to the end of August they require 4 aircraft, going up to 5 from the end of August. So i'm guessing Euroatlantic will still be around until the 5th A321 is delivered.

No one can deny that the company has taken a bashing on social media, much of it is its own fault and some not! Pprune is not as influential as it used to be, load of other sites like Facebook and Tripadvisor are significantly busier with passenger traffic.
I’m on the Airbus fleet and I can tell you that the feedback we receive has generally been very good. I can’t comment on the 737 operation. The National 757 debacle is now hopefully behind us and terms and conditions and day to day management of the operation is showing signs of improving. Many of my flightdeck colleagues are from good airlines like Monarch, Thomas Cook, Wizz, Turkish, Gulf and many others. We are without exception aiming to do a professional job and offer good customer service.
