They will have plenty of time to serve the catering anyway with the ATR being so slow. FWIW the BA timetable shows the IOM to LCY flights as being ATR from April.
I am curious where the Club seats will be (not that I would ever be in them)? , convention seems to be at the front by the door but ATR loads from the rear

Working out where this airline actually flies is still a bit of dark art! I want to fly direct Norway - Scotland. Where can I fly from and to? Route map says Bergen - Glasgow, no idea if it's direct. Booking engine will let me chose a load of random stuff that clearly won't be direct, but can't be restricted to show choices for things that are direct. Is Bergen - Glasgow direct? Booking engine lets me search but then says it's not possible to actually do it...
Given the number of changes in their network in recent times (and given that for the prices they charge they're presumably aiming for people that want direct flights to odd places and are willing to pay a premium for the time saving; if I have to change I can do that with a cheaper airline), it would seem sensible to make it easy to find out where they fly. Reminds me a bit of what BMI became like...

But yes, as a customer, this is not always too helpful and one can ask where the reliability is.
Loganair bought their original SD330s, SD360s, DHC6s, and some Islanders and Trislanders factory fresh, as well as the original ATP fleet and two 146-200s. They were also the launch customer for the Jetstream 41 alongside stablemate Manx.
Anyone know if the LCY-IOM ATR will be getting BA colours?

dboy, that's the second or third scathing comment and comes on the back of a posting history with several shots at bmi too, back in the day. Time to move on, maybe?
44 aircraft is not taking the tiny crumbs. Five freighters with a sixth on the way and a scheduled network which I think is said to be the UK's fifth largest by volume of flights is of rather greater substance than the dismissive tones in which you describe it!
SKP1F, the ATR is in full Loganair colours. Arrived in Aberdeen earlier this week and looks very good.

@Saab: nono, no shooting or offending at all. Plz dont misunderstand me. I just see it as a very hard market to survive and companies doing everything to keep their heads above the water.

My previous post did not question the airline or aircraft ability to operate LCY. I am well aware of airlines past and present that have operated type into LCY. The question I posed concerned ATR aircraft performance ex LCY on sector lengths to IOM and DND!
Contactair operated LCY-HAM and STR, and possibly DUS (from memory) on the ATR42. I can’t see IOM being a problem?
