“We are moving [some of] our Hungary operations to Abu Dhabi and in a few weeks we will be making first announcements,” József Váradi told the Arabian Travel Market delegates through a video conference on Wednesday.
Hedging against the vagaries of Viktor Orban in Hungary perhaps; though why Abu Dhabi (another de-facto one party state), unless it's tax or investment related I can't imagine.

This just means that some aircraft will be transfered from Wizz Hungary (which is everything in Europe except UK) to Wizz AbuDhabi. Since the demand is in general lower right now, they are moving the planes within the company to new bases or even different company - Wizz AbuDhabi. They see more opportunity to start operations there due to competition downsizing so instead of 3 aircraft they will start with 6. Nothing special really and definitely nothing to do with politicians or EU

LED will have 1 based aircraft from mid September and 5 new routes (SZG, OSL, NYO, CPH, MLA)

DTM will have 3 based aircraft (A320 due to restricted runway) and 18 new routes from August, in total 48 routes are served from DTM. Opening hours have been extended to allow larger utilisation of the aircraft.

Now hiring...
I just saw in their LinkedIn page that they are hiring cabin crew for LED base.
Even though they are in a crazy expansion now, it seems contradictory with all the firing going on recently.
-Maybe they need just russians?
-Could we see pilots being hired again?
For sure they want to be the first ones out of the storm.

They are not in crazy expansion (altough they want to sell it as they were). They are simply shifting capacity from existing bases to airports willing to give them the most discount. There will be some growth but considerably less than it was planned for this year. Most of the existing aircraft (~60% of the fleet) are still sitting idle.
Hiring local cabin crew in Russia is done 1. as no one would move there for chips, 2. to minimize paperwork issues with foreign crew, 3. required by the authorities to have the base approved (possibly a combination of all of these things).
