Wizzair-2
In any population, there will always be some with more money and who have spent more years in education
Others will be in different situation..... they are still Brits and they have just as much right to a week's holiday in the sun

There isn't really any excuse for criticising someone for their size or looks, certainly not in the woke / snowflake era, and if Wizz' marketing department believes that this person presses the right buttons for the market they are looking to attract, then good luck to them. Personally the idea of travelling with a plane load of Gemma Collins clones isn't going to send me to the Wizz website to book my next 2 weeks on the "Costa Plonka", but then again it's the last place I'd be looking to spend 2 weeks anyway - I'm just not their target audience.

I'm sure this has been covered here before, but I had not noticed Thira (Santorini) mentioned. From AirlineRoute:

It's about the yield management and cost base.
Whizzair may well have much lower operating cost per seat and seat and per KM than EZY.

If you look at 2019 results, which was the last set of 'normal' results to give an idea of the airline, they carried 34m + passengers, load factor of 92.8% and a profit of €295m, from 114 aircraft. That's not a bad set of results to be honest ... and a healthy balance sheet going into the COVID crisis - hardly one of the worst performing airlines arguably one of the better performing ones ....
I think it's a great move and good fir for the Doncaster market. Given they are now number 1 at LTN, I think this could be a very successful venture for them.

Don’t forget Wizz have not been around as long as EZY or FR. What was the load factor for EZY 8 years ago or FR 17/18 years ago.
Or or put it another way, what do you think Wizz can achieve in the same timescale as the other LCC’s?
