It won’t be long before the taxpayer will start to payoff a government debt of wartime proportions for a generation or more. While the government had no choice but to borrow the money those that support money being pledged on dubious foreign owned companies will be the first to complain if it all turns sour and they pick up the bill. Wizz has said they have enough cash for a year anyway so I doubt they will use any UK money.

The UK makes no specification on the ownership percentages for UK AOCs. Other countries do, as does the EU. The big Brexit rub is that to operate inside the UK and between the UK and many 3rd countries you need a UK AOC. Some of those 3rd countries also have ownership requirements for UK AOCs. The US is a good example. However for UK AOCs that existed and operated to the US back in Nov 2018 (or will it have been Jan 2020) they can continue to operate between the UK and USA provided they are either majority UK or UK & EU owned and the largest single shareholder, if they are not UK or EU owns <25%.

From the independent quoting Wizzair
So what happens between flights on those 25 minute turnarounds?
Wizz Air will continue its stringent daily cleaning schedule, with the entire aircraft being disinfected overnight in line with official guidelines.”

The WUK flights from Tenerife to Luton have a lot of people who wish to be repatriated, and the Spanish authorities are quite happy for them to go back to the UK. The problem area would be incoming flight as only Spanish nationals or those with Spanish Residencia would be allowed in. Condor currently fly FRA-TFS twice a week and are bookable on their website, so if can be done.

UK Government bails out Hungary’s Wizz Air with £300 million – whilst Virgin Atlantic is turned down

According to the Beeb 2m (why 2m inthe UK - my man in the Netherlands says it's only 1.5 m there...) social distancing has a much smaller effect than just about any other measure they've taken. Unless someone actually coughs all over you your're unlikely to catch the disease.
and if they stop anyone over 40 flying then the effects are minimal anyway
