MV510 From ATH: 56 !!! Not good at all I think some people’s doubts about this airline may have been right looking at todays figures.
KK2001 From IST: 139
My friend has said that EZY are looking at a massive increase next year with upwards of 5 extra aircraft to be based. Had a little look on their website and destination but can’t see this myself. Anyone got any evidence of this ?

EZY increases anywhere are always it appears quite difficult to read & never seem to arrive with big announcements.Any increase tho would be pleasing never mind that quantity so here`s hoping.
Talk of half a dozen units going into MAN so maybe MAG putting together a deal. Many many moons ago MAG/STN & EZY signed a growth agreement, perhaps the dates are being modified )
An increase would not be beyond the realms of possibility with instances inc a void in the North London market ie MON/LTN &
easyLand overlooks too the chaotic road links into the LTN CTA this summer & they would also have v bad feedback from their customers &
EZY witnessing the remarkable achievement at STN by EXS &
Why pay millions now for LGW slots when they can apply in the normal allocation system for STN at no cost.(if the rumors are true they have/will be well outbid by IAG anyways for VLG=more competition & Level.
Where would the extra a/c come from?...originally allocated for LTN growth? or SEN transfer?.
EZY have a brand new CEO who is witnessing a state of flux in the market..Will he continue exactly as CMC?.
MV510...equipment B734 but no not startling figures but possibly some transfer thru ATH.
KKK2001..equipment A320 again today so pretty good factor & if as you state some under belly uplift as well.
Thanks for all the further info.

Do you know what people have been paying for this service though? What is fact is that for London to Khartoum this service is EXTREMELY competitive on journey time. They operate other niche routes as well. I'd guess very few people will be travelling STN-ATH given their lack of brand awareness and competition with FR.

The reason why I put a "+" is that is could be more, thus freeing Berlin based units, it's up the the crew hires, which is very positive apposed to working at LH/EW at the moment but still fluid.

Primera Air
Did I miss this, I seen ALC and AGP are to be added but Stansted are reporting news of PMI also
Following the recent announcement of direct flights to New York, Boston and Toronto from London Stansted Airport, Primera Air is adding three more leisure destinations – Mallorca, Alicante and Malaga to its offering.
Primera Air is an established and well-known leisure carrier in Scandinavia, and now the low-cost airline is bringing company’s core product to the UK. Flights to Mallorca, Alicante and Malaga will operate daily from April and May next year.
As previously announced, Primera Air starts flying to New York, Toronto and Boston from London Stansted from April 2018. For the next two years Primera Air will increase its presence at existing bases and open other transatlantic routes and new bases, as the airline has 20 new Boeing Max9-ER on order.

Good news with Primeria. I'm sure their long haul from STN will be a success. I think their short haul is regrettable, 7 airlines flying to PMI in the summer, one or two of them will give.
Regarding EZY the only thing that makes me believe they will expand their STN ops is the fact they are been recruiting for permanent cabin crew.
Wonder if BA have any growth plans?

daz211.
Hopefully correct & might well expect PMI but may be possible the news has been conflated with BHX.
In the STN media forum there is a quote too from the Primera CEO also stating PMI for STN but it is not appearing in their booking engine at least yet.
Could expect the same routes from both STN & BHX at least initially.
Would there be a scheduling problem tho with a PMI as the one B738 does both ALC & AGP daily.
Maybe more to come?.

MV pax figs
As has been said many of these 56 may have been onward connections from Athens so depending on there fares 56 could be an ok load,i think most of stn non ryr or ezy take belly freight which adds to revenue. Not sure if its been posted already but Correndon have started their Friday flights to Marrakesh using their B738 the flight did operate last winter but via Man.

Nope, past 2/3 years it's been fixed term contracts only from STN for external candidates.
Only major bases (LTN, LGW, BRS) and those they've already announced they are expanding are currently recruiting.

Righto thanks.......& as I say (& just a viewpoint) there are so many permutations that JBU can/could follow.
Would be a great addition but I`m personally not championing JBU at STN.
