Some type with initials JOTA & some lower case Jota....being pedantic I know.
As far as I can see, the company name is Jota Aviation.

JOTA or Jota?

A quick look at their website doesn't throw any light on this at all. When you get into the website it's headed JOTA Aviation (mixed case) and on the side of the pictured plane it's JOTA Aviation again. However, all the way through the site it's referred to as Jota. So, if the company doesn't even know itself, I'm sure that both are equally acceptable.

Following the bus fire at Stansted today, we've received two EZY diversions so far (Ljubljana and Cagliari) with Amsterdam and Belfast expected in the next half hour or so.

The Amsterdam did arrive but the Belfast landed at STN. All three diversions have already repositioned back to STN.

JOTA CEO Andy Green quoted in Airliner World magazine April 2017: "The company is negotiating to acquire a pair of dedicated 146QT freighters which will offer a significant increase in capacity and capability without breaking the bank. ......diversifying into the jet cargo sector waters down our market risk. If the ACMI sector dries up we won't have all our eggs in one basket. We have canvassed a lot of potential customers and there is plenty of interest. We see a need to support not only other carriers but also postal and courier contracts. The QT plugs the gap between ATR/ATP and 737 freighters. Jota's expansion is driven entirely by market demand. We have no real thoughts about whether we're going to get two aircraft or ten. There is plenty of availability in the second-hand market so we don't have to panic when it comes to acquisitions."

Surely there is a Jota thread where this could be discussed?

Strange; I was told the opposite by JOTA staff. Or rather I was told that 2 QTs would be based at SEN for operations.

I will try to find out again. Maybe two will be used for spares and two flying. Thanks for info.

Whatever the truth at this moment I hope that JOTA will expand their operation further at SEN rather than look elsewhere (which I have also heard).

There isn't one at present but surely with all this recent discussion regarding JOTA may be it's a good time for someone to start a new thread!

Why the rush for a new discussion thread, we could all be talking about something else tomorrow.

Your comment doesn't really make much sense to be honest!

Even Aurigny, Eastern Airways and Titan all have their own dedicated threads so why not one for JOTA?

I am grateful to Jota today for an email confirmation that it is their current intention to keep all four aircraft flying.
