Tayair6 has been posting for 4/5 years now and has racked up well over 200 individual posts. I'm guessing Tayair6 is not a native English speaker and may sometimes use a translation tool such as google translate to get his point across. Sometimes this goes slightly awry but overall Tayair6's posts are understood and welcome by me at least.

Don't want to be a party pooper, but this was posted on SEN's Facebook page not their website, and the reply was in response to a comment. On that basis there has still not been an 'official' announcement made to the general public as yet. However, it does look like the flights might go ahead.
Sea Air to Munich
I've had a look at the sea-air.hr website - but there seems to be no mention at all of Southend-Munich. An alternate site at sea-air.info does however make mention of Southend-Munich but seems to lack any facility to buy a ticket.
I'd really like to buy a Sea Air ticket, but I'm rather wary of paying more than a day in advance right now.

Only the first website makes mention of a Southend-Munich route.
Looking at the first website, I found the address of Sea Air - it comes up as 83 Ducie Street, Manchester, M1 2JQ

I don't live in Manchester, so had a quick look at Google Maps to see whether the photos of the address seems plausible for a travel agent - it does not. It looks like a seriously run down street, with heavy metal shutters on many of the windows to protect against vandalism.
I had a look at Royal Mail - the address seems to be possibly some sort of forwarding / brass plate address / mailbox rental controlled by City Address Ltd
I then had a look at Companies House - I noticed that Sea Air Tourist and Travel was incorporated on 14-Jan this year - i.e. barely two months ago. Needless to say, there are no filed accounts. From 14-Jan-2016 to 04-Feb-2016 the company was based at 152 London Road, Morden, London which according to Google Maps appears to be a residential address.
The company seems to have share capital of 1 pound (essentially the legal minimum), and one director called 'Nando Kos' who seems to appear on various websites as being linked to Sea Air.
Both website www.sea-air.info and www.sea-air.hr are registered to a Nando Kos with the given address being located at Osijek airport. sea-air.info seems to have been possibly registered on 27-Feb-2016
I have found nothing whch says this is anything other than entirely legitimate, but I'm keeping my credit card in my pocket until I see a Sea Air branded flight land and take off again at Southend.

Sorry to be negative, but if easyJet is reaching it's limits on expansion at SEN in terms of finding out what is and isn't feasible then what hope does the airport have to reach 2m pax? It certainly is NOT the likes of Sea Air.

Hearing news through the grapevine that Inflite Aircraft maintenance at the airport is closing. Sad news! The end of a long line of Maintenance companies on that site, British World, BAF, and many more, and the last heavy Maintenance on the airport, what the ATC Lasham going as well. Good luck to them all.

Rumour I heard was that Inflite were looking to take over some of the ATC Lasham hangar space.
Could it be that they are just moving from one side of the runway to the other?

I must say I thought the video was very good. It does send out the message what Southend has to offer. BUT...and there is always a BUT...how much? Is Southend attractive as a competitor in landing fees, handling fees, and for the maintenance boys, hangarage rentals. The huge ex Aviation Traders hangar has always been subject to high rents, but to leave it empty never made sense. With no expansion from EasyJet, StobartAir up in the air, and Sea-Air waiting to be seen if it's true or not, I am still sitting on the fence.

Any merger will only take place after Stobarts have sold the business. Thereafter there is little incentive for the new owners to use SEN as a base. Stobart Air was always all ill conceived idea. They bought into Air Aeran so that they could put SEN on the map in terms of commercial pax flights. That in turn helped them lure a far bigger fish - Easyjet. However the cost/benefit of the exercise has never been clear. Selling the business is just another example of Stobart divesting itself of assets to pay a dividend whilst the airport continues to under-perform.
