Think it’s known as a “Parliamentary” train service. It’s a device to close stations without going through the required procedure. It is easier to run one train a week in only one direction so that travel is impossible. Pax figures fall from the station concerned and it becomes unviable.
If there was a "You couldn't make it up" award for a route that 10 years would be considered bizarre, would DSA-KSC perhaps be a worthy award recipient ?

Links Air C/S tell me that there has still been no decision on if the BHD route will resume this year, and that they will know one way or the other at the end of the month.

Links Air have cancelled all remaining flights to and from the Isle of Man this summer (although they still appear on their timetable). Very annoying for me as I was preparing to book a whole sequence.

No big deal.
While unfortunate it isn't the biggest of surprises and a lot of us were expecting it. Given the growth the airport has seen in recent months, growth to which Links hasn't contributed at all, losing such an unreliable airline won't matter too much I think.
