If BMIR do have spare aircraft or capacity available they could also look into expanding on their singular route to Southampton from Munich with adding the likes of Brussels, Frankfurt, Milan, Zurich.
These are currently unserved markets from Southampton although they have been operated in the past.

bmi still operates two aircrafts for Brussels Airlines and one aircraft for LOT?
Does anybody know where the aircrafts are based? I just know that there are 2x ERJ145 and 1x ERJ135 based in Munich and I think one ERJ145 for LOT is based in Orebro.

Thanks.
Had a quick look at flightradar and I think it seems to be like that:
5x Bristol (2x ERJ135, 3x ERJ145)
3x Munich (1x ERJ135, 2x ERJ145)
3x Brussels (3x ERJ145, 2x for Brussels Airlines and 1 could be also be based in East Midlands instead of Brussels, not sure)
1x Newcastle (ERJ135)
1x Aberdeen (ERJ145)
1x Orebro (ERJ145 for LOT)
1x Karlstad (ERJ145, flying only the route Karlstad-Jönköping-Frankfurt)
1x Birmingham (ERJ145, new)
1x Bremen (ERJ145, flying Airbus shuttle between BRE and TLS and as well SN flights between BRE and BRU)
1x ERJ145 (G-RJXI) has no movements since more than one week

BM's Chief Commercial Officer has given a interview earlier this week at the Route Europe Conference in Belfast in which he talks about how BM's plans to expand there fleet and that they believe they could add 6 or more larger aircraft to the fleet. Maybe some E170 or E175's?.

Interesting. The next bigger size jets could be SSJ100 (78seats), CRJ700 (70seats) or as suggested the E170.
Are there any bmi routes which have such good load factors to be replaced by a bigger aircraft?

I wish they'd do something with the route map on their website. It's not massively possible to work out where they fly any more (and with an airline where it changes so much, it's important)!

maybe G-RJXI will be the aircraft based out of LDY when services start next week

Question is for how long? Once Brussels will fly for Eurowings I don't think that they will have smaller feeders anymore.

Facts R Us: what is the reason for that? Because of their contract flying?
Brussels have recently taken on WX so they must see a future for feeder traffic. It sounds like BE are going to be the ones to stop operating.

Is the G-RJXA still in C-Check as bmi leased a ERJ145 for the LDY - STN route?
