Hi anyone know where the Tuesday PMI will be operated from? Both AGP and FAO are on sale 7 days a week, the Saturday is clearly drawn out of the LGW, A319.

Happy Christmas everyone!

EI Verona

Just got a Travel Department supplement in the Sunday Times today. Apparently EI operating an exclusive charter for the Travel Department weekly from BHD to VRN from 20 May to 17 June and again from 26 August to 23 September.

Will this be a W pattern from another base, or does gaps in BHD schedule allow for this?? Believe in past years this was operated by LS from BFS.

Also any word on what airline is operating BHD to REU on behalf of Thomson / First Choice on Tuesdays 24 June to 15 July??? Not displaying an airline as yet per their website.

The airline hasn't been confirmed yet. It could possibly be Flybe.

This flight will more than likely be operated by a BHD aircraft. There is a gap in the schedule to allow for this. BHD-AGP will operate 6 weekly between 27 May & 17 June and 26 August & 23rd of September.

The Tuesday BHD-PMI will operate from BHD. 1 aircraft on the LHR, 1 aircraft on FAO/PMI and the other on LGW & AGP (but for a couple of weeks the third aircraft will operate LGW & VRN)

On a Tuesday throughout the summer the BHD aircraft will operate the morning/mid morning BHD-LGW (EI20/22). The LGW based aircraft will operate the evening flight from BHD-LGW (EI26).

Flybe's 195's are all but gone. They won't have any jets in Belfast and very few left in their network come February. Their jet crews are all on redundancy notice so they won't be doing BHD-REU.
Sad times

Thomas Cook Belgium use to operate BHD-REU and TCX did aswell for the peak summer season. BHD-REU hasn't operated since S12.

BA

Interesting to see BA last arrival into BHD tonight at 1930, then returning to London with no night-stop. Not seen this last winter, and 3 rotations tomorrow on the route, a marked decline on before.

Mr Ambrose stated yesterday that 2013 was the most successful year in the airports history, well done.

Most airlines reduce capacity Jan/Feb. Better that than opersting flights with only a handfull of passengers. Heard most BA flights fron BHD if not overbooked at least near full.

Precisely! and hey who likes January or February anyway!! It's why its so dead bar business, weekend and ski travel, god I hope some of you share the January blues. Because I know from my own local airport, it is the worst time of year and always has been a very depressing two months of the year and you know sales certainly reflect it, it's better to keep those birds grounded then throw money down the pot in those months. Winter sun travel seems to go down the tubes in Jan/Feb also for some reason, must be the shorter days and the fact the Christmas has just passed.

Hi Stab3.5 and Jack,

Yeah I get the bit about cut backs at this time of year but seems a marked contrast to last year. The loads have improved on BHD LHR generally but mainly due lower frequency. I fly on both carriers, not uncommon for the earliest to be packed, EI seem to be doing quite well too on LHR. With Flybe's imminent withdrawal it will help both carriers.

Timings are however not early morning with an 0745 EI and 0750 BA departure meaning impossible to do 0900 or even 0930 start in Central or West London by way of LHR. But that's how the slot scenario goes.

I see City has overtaken Muckamore to be the busiest Norn Iron airport for movements.

Surely this must be a mistake, get the outrage bus started, something must be done, get those letters of complaint in to your local MLA and demand that Muckamore be given help to squash those impudent people who think they are a real airport in Belfast city centre.

Seriously though, when I was flying from Harbour all those years ago from a tin hut, I would not have taken a bet on it having more flights than Aldergrove at any stage in its existence.

And strong rumours abound again of the imminent arrival of KLM UK. Fingers crossed some truth to the rumours this time.
