Perhaps due to the load it required to lift more fuel after taking off due to restrictions or weather conditions

There was a good dry summer on the whole so didn't really affect aircraft performance. When the runway is wet in belfast it is very penalising on how heavy an aircraft can be to take off. As a result the aircraft has to stop en route to lift more fuel

Yes thats right 21:30 for Scheduled flights and if delayed they have up to 23:59 to land (If they are granted) and after that cancel or go to BFS

I think the actual wording is along the lines that operations may be permitted in the Extended Hours 21:30 - 23:59 in 'exceptional circumstances' which, over the years has come to mean, any late arrivals and departures.

Do BCA make money on the late operations or are they still paying the environmental fines on behalf of the airlines. If they do generate revenue for the airport they'll be wanting alot more of them as the most recent available figures, 2011, so an operating loss of almost £400k. Sound investment!

I saw this also mention of x4 LHR, I'd be disappointed if the timetable as it is for LGW is correct, no late flight back, from what I can see the timetable on EI is the same as its been for ages, so not sure why an announcement today about it. I've heard a rumour that EI may bring back ALC.
