yup, it'll be public soon
The last confirmed news was that it will be TCX cabin crew and the operator (whoever that may be) providing the pilots.
Now must we speculate in an open forum as to the crew arrangements where jobs may be at risk?

Touching a raw nerve caaardiff?
People speculate a whole lot more than just about a few jobs. Considering the company have already removed the one and only based aircraft, in normal terms, the crew would already know their fate... good or bad.
I'm hoping which ever airline does take over the flights, they will allow TCX to employ their own staff to crew the aircraft.

With Wales playing France in the Six Nations at home this Friday, any idea what airlines & aircraft will be operating through ? Usually tends to be a large French airlift in past years......

Cym - thanks for that. Not seen TOM do that before. Wonder how they crew that ? If crew base in TFS that would mean a lot of people staying in TFS but they probably swap crews at the UK end of the W pattern every so often so not needing multiple crews there.

its normally just 1 crew that overnights - swaps on uk sector as required. They did this about 6 years ago with a 752 based between TFS and LPA. Used to operate the CWL-LPA rotation!

Latest news is that PAX numbers are up on last year... ...Great stuff, before long it may start making a profit and the WA can sell it back to the private sector at a net loss to the taxpayer, like the last time....sorted
