Sorry to replied late. I don't know the title of the soundtrack of the video, but I can give you the name of the editor. He is Javier Guijarro. The techniques used are the timelapses and HDR. More than 40.000 pictures in 3 days, 22 timelapses, motorized slider...
You can try to ask him about the music on the presentation in this forum:

I can't imagine why the two old terminals should be re-opened, given that the new terminal is bigger than the 'old' 1&2 combined. I would say that the new terminal is a vast improvement on the previous terminals.
At current pax levels the new terminal is more than big enough [even too big considering how far it is to walk to some of the gates] for the immediate future.
The only possibility I could see, given MoL's current dispute regarding air-bridges, is for terminal 2 to be re-opened purely for RYR flights. However, given the o/heads involved, I can only see this as being very unlikely.

i was onboard the ryanair flight from manchester which didnt use the airbridges, it worked moderatly okay but everyone was cramped onto a bus and it was very hot, it is quicker to use the airbridges and the ryanair staff are so rude it wasnt a good flight!

I flew out of the new terminal at Alicante last Saturday evening. The terminal itself was very impressive however there was no air conditioning whatsoever and many people were complaining about the heat and no air. The catering really left a lot to be desired. I expect to pay a bit more at an airport but the prices at Alicante were far too high and the quality of food on offer was very poor. Stale sandwiches were around 6 euros and a very small roll that was so hard cost 5 euros 10 cents. Many people were going into outlets to buy something to eat but when they saw the prices they just walked out. If the prices were brought down to a resonable level then people would buy more. At Malaga airport there are loads of machines where you can buy cans or bottles of water, cola or juice. There were no such machines at Alicante. I hate to be so negative but the new terminal is a disgrace.

I'm afraid I have to agree with all the criticisms. Flew out of the new terminal a couple of weeks ago and was hoping that many of the deficiencies mentioned here were just teething problems or works waiting completion. Given the latest reports it appears not:
i. virtually no seats fitted at departure gates
ii. lack of and expense of food outlets -the cafe area in the old terminal on the left hand side just as you emerged from security was fine. Nothing to compare in the new terminal and the prices and lack of availability in the few small outlets!!!
iii. the arrows on the signs are totally confusing while the numbering of the floors defies logicality.
iv. entrance to the departure gates via the back of the Duty Free shop is just a joke.
Is the air conditioning problem just a breadown or has it not been installed (yet)?

Totally agree with your comments, Prestonian.
I especially hate being forced to walk through duty-free, immediately after security, in a vain attempt to make you buy something. Self-defeating in my view, as having walked through it in order to find a seat/buy an expensive coffee, you are unlikely to want to walk back.

There is air conditioning in all the new terminal. Perhaps it was off or poorly regulated. Inside the terminal there are air vents through the towers and from the facades. Also through the glass wall, which is adapted to insulate the terminal. I was on Friday morning and it worked perfectly.
Regarding the prices I'm not agree with you. Where did you buy the sandwiches? Maybe in a Subway... I advise you to eat in places with less common names.
And finally say that the terminal has vending machines, but it is true that there are not many.

I'm off to Alicante on 16th June and back on the 30th.
The food has always been a contentious issue. The sandwiches were a joke, an expensive one at that and god help you if you are getting one of the last flights of the day home, just about everything used to shut before midnight. I hope that's all changed.
I'll post my findings when I get back.

GnRdL, with the greatest of respect, I am not alone in saying that the prices at the new terminal are FAR too expensive. There were several outlets selling rather stale unappetising sandwiches for anything up to 6 euros. A very small roll that was so hard you could almost sole your shoes with it, cost 5euros 10 cents. In the old terminal there were vending machines to buy water, cola etc but honestly, when I was there on Saturday 28th May there were none.
I stand by everything that I said about the terminal. It looks very nice but the heating and ventilation was horrendous and the catering is extremely expensive and most of what was on offer was not very appealing. Charleroi airport is exactly the same. The next time I have to fly out of Alicante airport I will purchase food from Mercadona. Unfortunately because of the restrictions on what I can take through security I am unable to bring my own drinks.

OK, back from our Holstein and here is my take on Alicante.
On arrival, everything was fine. Straight off the aircraft, through passport control (there wasn't any, not one of the booths were manned) and off to collect suitcases. Very clean baggage area and efficient delivery of bags and was out of the terminal less than 25 minutes after arrival. Down to -2 to look for the Dickmanns minibus which had just set off before we reached the bay. I held up my hand as he went by and he stopped straight away and got out of the bus and loaded up our luggage and off we went to collect our hire car. If I had been in England, the minibus wouldn't have stopped!
Coming back was a different matter. Returning the hire car was a piece of cake (I thoroughly recommend Dickmanns). Got to the Easyjet check in booths and out of about 6, only 2 were open for those who hadn't been enticed to pay for speedy boarding. However, it only took 20minutes to check in which I wasn't too bothered about. After bag search it's through Duty Free to get to the gated areas and this is whe ALC blew big time. Anyone who thinks this place has Air Con is living in a dream world. If they have it, they need to switch it on. Also no free wifi which is available at other Spanish Airports. Spoke to one of the workers in one of the shops who told me that the staff have aired their views, especially about the Aircon to the airport operator but their views are ignored. I was encouaged to write about my experiences and send them to the airport, this guy reckoned if everyone was to do the same, something might get done..........maybe!
About the food. Why is everything more expensive at airport franchises than they are in the towns. Burger King is the classic example. In Torrevieja the BK ice-cream was 50 cents cheaper than at the airport and this differential went through the menu. I thing the long chicken meal was a difference of over one Euro. Do airport food outlets use different ingredients? I didn't notice any drink vending machines but I have to admit I didn't look that hard.
Overall, I would give the new terminal a 7 out of 10 rating. It was a totally charmless experience but efficient none the less.
