Hi Evanelplus,

Maybe the info that I have it's wrong, but the old park will be separated in three parts: 1) long stay parking; 2) for employees 3) 340 public places.
The info also says that rent companies will be in the new park. Anyway, the rent company will be more informed.

I regret that info is contradicted.
Sorry again

How about the bus service to Torrevieja and Orihuela Costa? Seems that the taxi drivers are holding it up. True or false?

Anyone used the new terminal? If so, perhaps you could let us know what it was like.

Travelled through the new terminal on wed with easyjet.it all works very well, although their is a ditinct lack of seating at some of the gates.the car hire works very well.a lot more choice of eating,i,m not sure of the policy on gate allocation .saw two planes at airbridges but two on remote stands although there where free airbridges. Hundred percent better than before.

Sed the new terminal last weekend, arrived from madrid dep gatwick. All worked very well,a long walk from the domestic gates though.not a lot of seating at the departure gates either.the car hire is better than before, all the ques. On one side now..not sure how they assign gates thoigh watched two easyjet go to remote stands while the gatwick flight had airbridge.some confusion upon boarding as there is an unmanned passport desk before the boarding gate, this caused some confusion when they called the flight and asked for sb passengers.all in all thoigh its much better

The bus service between Torrevieja and the airport could be ready later this month.

Source: www.torrevieja.com

The full video of the Presentation of the New Terminal (in the previous video there was a lag between audio and image, in addition to missing half a minute):

From the pics it looks as if Ryanair aren't using the air-bridges
How long before they add a €2 surcharge to pax flying to/from ALC in order to pay or an air-bridge?

Not all Ryanair aircrafts are using the airbridges. Some of them go to remote positions.

Ryanair didn't add €2 surcharge to fly to/from ALC. This was due to policy cancellations in all Europe.

Hi GnRdL,

Can you tell me which terminal do Aer Lingus now use old or new? Or is there any info as to which airlines will be using the old/new facility?

There is now only one terminal at ALC - the new one. The two old terminals are shut.

Thanks, that's great news. The lack of such a service has defied logic up to this. I can see this being very popular, hopefully they will have enough buses at peak times.
