Does anybody know if any more of the 738s are being fitted with the Scimitar winglets this year ? I think they did 5 or 6 of the older aircraft last spring and heard there was some good performance and savings made especially on the longer PFO,LCA and SSH sectors
I think he scimitar re fit is almost if not complete
5 still to do

I see G-TUIH is at New Iberia airport most likely for painting. Does that not happen at Paine? It was in Charleston before that, What would that be for?

Don't know if anyone spotted this!

A Thomson Airways flight heading to Mexico diverted to Bermuda’s LF Wade International Airport today [April 12],

Apparently they got fined $3000 each.

Getting back from there will be interesting

It was at Charleston because it was built there and has gone to New Iberia for painting.

They are assembled at both Pain and Charleston and some sections are built in Charleston.
The aircraft in question is the 65th from Charleston, they are assembling both the B787-8 & B787-9 there.
The next one for TUI is also from Charleston and is line number 300
Ian Brooks I think you find fuse of the B737 is built in Wichita, not sure how much of it in Charleston.

No TOM 757 to be based in BFS, it will be a SWG 738.

If that is so TOM need to update their website. I ran a dummy booking a few days ago from BFS and it states clearly "Enjoy extra leg room on our Boeing 757 short/mid-haul routes" with an option to purchase. Would a SWG aircraft have a similar number of "extra leg room seats"?

The latest fleet plans for Summer 15 show BFS as a SWG 738.

The SWG 738 have 1 ABC and 2-5 DEF as extra leg room seats.
