Just saw a pic of G-FDZW with scimitar's as well. Wouldn't be surprised if ZJ which is just descending into LGW from LTN now, will now have them installed. The whole fleet will have them before long.

I thought G-OOBL had been returned to the lessors - it certainly did go to Shannon about a month ago - appears now to be flying for Thomson again since the 14th May (or earlier) ... seems to be Manchester based.
G-OOBM is the other remaining ex FCA 767 and seems to be serving BHX, NCL, EMA and rarely MAN.

Noticed G-OOBM went down to LTN after arriving at BHX this morning, with the NCL-SFB flight being operated by G-OBYG. Is that it for 'BM or just a temporary reposition?

Dreamliner G-TUIE (Ln# 191) and G-TUIF (ln# 198) are now out of the factory for pre-flight tests
Dreamliner PH-TFK (Ln# 182, Tui Travel Arke) is the latest plane ready for delivery.
If Boeing are running production at 10 planes this puts G-TUIE ready for delivery at the end of June and G-TUIF 3 weeks later?

Just out of curiosity …
I am seeing a rather fetching banner-ad for Thomson Airways at the top of my PPRuNe page. Very nice it is too. But why does it feature a photo of a Boeing 747-400 climbing away into the sunset? Were no in-house Dreamliner pics available?

Thomson long haul question
Can anyone confirm if the Thomson flights to Orlando, Cancun and the like are officially scheduled or charter? Was thinking they are charter, but not sure?

The definition becomes woolly when seat only are available and are bookable outwith the main charterer. A lot of the old FCA routes ie to TFS were officially classed as scheduled. The summer only Virgin flight from GLA is classed as scheduled but is essentially a Virgin Holidays charter. I would say the TOM services are however at the 'charter end'
Why the query?
