GSM Flight Times
Can someone please confirm flight times from GLA-SFB?
GSM725 departs at 0930 and arrives at 1500, it take it the times are GMT? Also, GSM726A departs SFB at 1800, is this local time? and arrives GLA at 0830, GMT? Confusing....

Good to see I now need to come to PPRuNe to get my roster! I'm supposed to take the 752 to Abu Dhabi on Sunday!!
It would be in AUH for engineering 'C' Check. B763 G-CDPT on it's way back then!

Engineers tell me that it has been in there all winter with no preparation, no heating etc and is being considered a write-off because of all mildew, moisture/seal damage!
Utter garbage an engine will arrive for it on Friday that engine being serial number 874231 which has been on repair at aeromotive Ireland, TBH I just can not understand where people get these rubbish stories so it has been in a hangar! wow so it has not been outside think of allthe aircraft that are just left outside then returned to service with no problem the A320 at GLA comes to mind rather quickly.

I am flying to SFB on Tues and note the departure time is 9.00am local and arrival 15.00pm local making it an 11hour trip, is this right? Is this scheduling in an "unlikely stop depending on winds", the BA flight from GLA-MCO takes less time incliding the change at LGW.

GLA flights are direct to SFB now, except for Fridays which route via BFS (Until June then Tues & Fri).
All SFB flights now on 763. They are still non ETOPS, but with no need to tech stop at BGR, therefore, as GSM SCOT says, flights should arrive early into Florida. Hopefully ETOPS will be back soon so we can get there even faster!!
Wingleted 737s are a little trickier in crosswinds and climb a little faster, but I really never noticed much difference in handling between "JO" and the other 738s.

I think G-CDPT is to return to Air India and G-CEOD will return for the summer with G-CEFG.

That's the plan 4567. Although there is talk about 2 aircraft being back at Air India for the winter, with the third 763 in The Middle East.
Non ETOPS adds about 45 mins to the flight time to SFB, depending on winds.
