Those times are excellent. I didn't think they were overnighting hence the bad timing comment. Hopefully it does well.
How did ORK manage to swing the overnight stay. Guessing no parking charge or cheaper than keeping it in PRG?

They'll be paying the parking charges, will have the 5 year support scheme but as you point out will be making serious cost savings by having it in Cork rather than at Prague.

Ok, jack, but, how can parking in cork be cheaper than parking in Prague?

Anyone know if the august schedule going to be loaded soon for some of the cork seasonal routes - seems very odd that they would not operate in the busiest month of the year?

Ryanair stated recently that those routes will operated for June and July. It's going to impact seriously on Cork's August traffic. Looks like 2015 is going to see more of a decline in Cork's traffic in spite of the new CSA service from Prague.

One would hope Cork have opened up talks again and try get them back. Such services generate a lot of traffic. The incentive schemes should be offered again to them.
Guessing it will be NY before we hear for EIR base a third?

Would be great if they did, Krakow would be one as FR have brought that to SNN even though I wouldn't put it past them to reverse it if Wizz came back and done well!! Think ORK should be going after new airlines. With Aer Lingus dropping destinations why not? Lisbon gone why not go after TAP, Nice gone why not go after Transavia France, Rome gone go after Alitalia. Give them good deals and even go after others. Not sure how visible this is but it is how I would go about it!!

Wizzair would probably operate from their Katowice base rather than Kraków. The D.A.A. have the fire power to win those Polish routes back for Cork if they really want to. It's also time to invest in a 2nd Airbridge now that Aerlingus seem happy to use the present one when ever its available. I presume Czech Airlines will also use it.

Well according to the head of communications on the Neil Penderville show on Wednesday they will build a new one and give it use for free to airlines that will use it. He said if they use it we will build it and we will not charge them either.

Heard recently that a 777 was refused handling at Cork due to a lack of suitable ground equipment. Another backward step given that Cork regularly handled 747's in the early 2000's.
