I see that G-CHTZ has a config of 319Y in a 2-4-2 layout and no Premium Cabin?

And being primarily used on the typically higher-end Caribbean runs of BGI/ANU/UVF where the premium cabin is more likely to be used. Something seems slightly wrong with that arrangement.

Indeed! I wonder why they didn't keep the very newly re-fitted bmi Business seats?!

Or even use this aircraft on the MCO/LAS flights and one of the A330's with the premium cabins on the Caribbean run. I have a hard time believing MCO see's more premium demand than ANU/UVF/CUN/BGI, unless they are trying to compete directly with the Virgin product?

TCX current A321 are 220 seats. Have they finally realised the legroom is terrible? Will the new aircraft have slimline seats?
Five seats less wont make much difference... It will however potentially mean they will be able to offer upto 6 rows of extra space seats (34") towards the front of the aircraft.

The new aircraft will have new seats on them yes. The Recaro Bl3520, same design that is used on most Lufthansa group shorthaul cabins.

No Premium

Ask a little man down Tatton way why?

There is no Premium offer ex UK specifically because of ADP rates.

They are trying a fiddle where they do offer premium on the return leg and an invite seat selection outbound.

There is a premium service offered on the A330s that have a premium cabin. Bookable and payable outbound and inbound.

All summer 2014 flights are already loaded. Thomas Cook ALC packages are all being done on other airlines.

Why does the Thomas Cook Pension perform so badly ?

I dont suppose anyone from TCX ever comes on here but desperate times call for desperate measures.

G-SUEW has been WFU which leaves only one TCX A320 in the fleet, and I have a sinking feeling that might be going as well but unsure when If anyone knows that would be good

GTCAD

Though GTCAD does not have an exit date just yet, it is the last remaining A320 in TCX fleet based at Bristol for the winter. GTCAD is due to leave sometime in March/April when Thomas Cook accept delivery of their new A321's.
Its sad, I do like the A320, and they are great to operate on. Never mind, looking forward to the brand new A321's next year!

No worries, it is sad indeed. I enjoyed working on the 320. I got sent to Stansted and Cardiff a few times this summer where they have A321's and realised how much i prefer the 320 . . .
And thank you for the welcome
