Thomas Cook are closing their Irish operation with effect from April 2014. They say online bookings are the reason behind it.

Its Thomas Cook the tour operator that's stopping Irish operations.

Nothing to do with TCX as they don't operate flights from the The Republc only NI.

Anyone any idea what aircraft is due to operate the LGW-Zakinthos on Thursdays in the summer - we are booked in May. Hoping it won't be some wet leased airline and will actually be TCX operated

It is indeed TCX operated, by B757-200.

B753 Winter routes

Hi all,

Are we too early to find out whether the B753 will be flying in and out of LGW this winter? Still looking to catch a ride on her, especially in the new livery

Any info (TCX69 maybe lol) would be greatly appreciated.

Just go onto flythomascook and do a dummy booking. The 753 is certainly operating out of LGW next winter. Its definitely down to do the TFS on a Tues in Jan 2015 looking at the booking I just tried!

Does anyone know the reason for TCX464 (Manchester to Cayo Coco) leaving 5 hours late yesterday?

Just a guess but I'm guessing smartlynx again for ncl.
Hope its different one or maybe a leased A321 instead of 320

Both 757-300's (75T) will be LGW based this winter. Still a few gaps but currently the schedule is:

Monday
BJL
SSH

Tuesday
HRG
TFS

Wednesday
NBE
???

Thursday
BJL
SSH

Friday
HRG
???

Saturday
GVA/???
FUE

Sunday
GNB/???
ACE

3 A320's are expected for S14, for CWL, LGW and NCL. 2 of which were meant to be coming from SmartLynx. With the arrival of an extra A321 G-TCDZ, this may now replace one of the A320's, but at which base I don't know.
