does any one know the a/c types to be based at gla this summer
3x 757-200's and 1x A330 Fri-Sun

also where will the mon tcx 3528 1855 bjv come from cfu or fnc due to times are the same arr into gla
and the tcx3876 where does this flight come from before it does this flight
TCX3528 will be operated by either of the FNC or CFU aircraft, as they both arrive at the same time it could change week on week.

The same with TCX3876, this leaves at the same time as the 3012 LCA so it could be operated by either the inbound 3002 IBZ or 3117 MAH.

Think the extra A321 might be at NCL ? Not seen any A320 seat plan on any dummy booking I did , all A321 plans I noticed but not 100% sure
The current A320 schedule for NCL is below, all things subject to change though.

Monday
ZTH, MAH, DLM

Tuesday
DLM (W-Pattern/DSA)

Wednesday
FUE, DLM

Thursday
ACE

Friday
PMI, MAH, BOJ

Saturday
IBZ, LPA

Sunday
REU, EFL

Avion Express will be the A320 operator at CWL and not Smartlynx. Job adverts have been seen for both First Officer & Captain last month.

Why did thomas cook get rid of their own a320's and then lease others from other airlines surely it would of made more sense to extend the leases on a couple of them and maybe just lease one a320.

A321s

Is it correct that the newly delivered and those to be delivered early 2014 are configured with 215 seats as opposed to 220 seats as in the existing older A321s.

Seems strange that there is no standardisation across the fleet assuming this is correct.

Why would Thomas cook acquire this aircraft, its 15 years old

Airbus A321-211 L/N 1006 REG F-HBAF Acquired. Due May 14 .

They have disposed of aircraft younger than this.

So it is

It still seems odd , it must be on a very short term lease.

New Livery

Why are Thomas Cook only applying the new Sunny Heart logo to the tails rather than repainting the whole aircraft into the new livery?

If you have seen the New Thomas Cook Livery Thread, you'll have seen why The Sunny Heart is only a Decal, not Painted, so it is stuck over the old logo and then when aircraft are needed for paint then they will be painted in the new colours

The old Globe tail logo was also a decal so pretty easy and quick to replace it with the new Sunny Heart logo.

Thanks TCX69

That's really helpful!

I have been hoping to fly on this bird for a long time, maybe this winter will be one - even better if they are in the new livery by then. Any word as to when the 753's are going to get repainted? I hope that there will be a thread running like the Monarch livery one in the Spotters section
