FCLK

Anybody know what is going on with G-FCLK, it appears to be decending into EHAM? It just caught my eye and was wondering what was going on.

It will be very strange to see the globe disappear in honesty along with the Don't just book it, Thomas Cook it strapline.

Very strange, personally i also think the current brand reflects TC well. The retired use of the globe no longer gives people a clear indication it is indeed Thomas Cook.

Yep, it looks pretty modern although I'm not so sure about the logo.

Yeah I've heard rumours of this Thomas Cook livery and now it turns out to be True.

When Aircraft begin to be painted I will start a new forum in the Spotters Corner like with Thomson & Monarch

...I love the new livery mind. Really modern, only resemblance of JetTime is the green tail.

Looking at jethros, TCX is to take numerous A321 deliveries before next Summer. Where are these A321's being based ? There has been numerous speculation over the CWL based aircraft for S14.
(GTCDB) - Airbus A321-211 - To trans fm Condor 02 Feb 14
(GTCDC) - Airbus A321-211-S - On order. Due 03 Dec 13
(GTCDD) - Airbus A321-211-S - On order. Due 10 Mar 14
(GTCDE) - Airbus A321-211-S - On order. Due 10 Mar 14
(GTCDF) - Airbus A321-211-S - On order. Due 10 Apr 14
(GTCDG) - Airbus A321-211-S - On order. Due 10 Apr 14

This will give TCX an extra 5 A321's for the Summer 2014 season, a lot more than previously thought.

It appears that Thomas Cook at Cardiff will be a non Thomas Cook aircraft. Despite high load factors according to the Civil Aviation Authority it seems as if Welsh passengers are to lose out again.

Cardiff will see a leased A321 don't know who from

Newcastle will get 2 A321's as the 2 757's which are normally at Newcastle are to go to gatwick!

That would be amazing if correct HH6702. It would not see a capacity reduction of 40 seats per sector as envisaged.

I do feel for the flight deck who are forced to look re-locate elsewhere if it remains a non TCX aircraft.

TCX69 - Thanks for the info, flythomascook.com now shows a B752 to SSH. I am wondering if the -300 will operate elsewhere from LGW go go for a re-spray when I can fly on her lol

Really like the new livery and logo. Very re-freshing, some of the fleet is looking tired now. Camera at the ready then. Any pics of LD already?

So CWL is to see a damp leased A321, with TCX cabin crew and non-TCX flight crew. Any ideas on who the aircraft will come from ? AtlasJet seem to have a few shored up in Turkey.

So if TCX is to get 5 new A321s for next summer, will they get rid of more 757s or offer more flights utilising all the aircraft they have?
