LOL - very funny.

Changing the subject, sorry... Does anyone have any updates or pics of the construction of the new arrivals building? How is the landscaping coming along?

Lanscaping

Apparently MAG have ordered 40 million tons of Bark Chippings to finish the landscaping.

The plan is to cover the entire airport with it so they can forget about the 40 million pounds they wasted, improving it ready for the 80% reduction in PAX numbers for this winter, it will also provide somewhere soft for the GA to land !

Never mind the Landscaping, is there any substance to the Easyjet Rumours ?

B747-400's

I noticed that one had gone. But, I was out there on the industrial estate today and noticed the other one had gone. Must have been recently because I drive past there every 2 days. Any idea were it went?

THE BOH 747 400's

I am surprised you all missed the event - with all the activity I spent on her in the last 7-10 days, especially after the High Power Ground Runs and closing the airport. Mind you those PW4000's are quiet.

Thanks Chaps. I must say I did here a bit of noise from where I live which is pretty close to the airport. But just thought it was the normal traffic movements as depending on which way they land or take off it gets quite noisy where I live.

So why did it go to Sophia? A new home?

BOH 747's

They are both destined for TLV - BEDEK Cargo Conversions for their new German Owner and then on to World. The Sophia transit stop is necessary is because BOH -TLV direct is not possible.

BOH handled 99,838 passengers in August, that's an increase of 4.2% on last August.

You can reverse that for November this year :

Bournemouth Handled 4.2 passengers in Nov 2010 that's a decrease of 99,838% on last year

So I should hold off with the Clapping Smiley Flyboh

Does anyone know why DILLTHEDOG takes so much pleasure in any bad news at BOH? Any excuse for a dig and he's there like a shot. How about contributing something interesting to read for once?

Apology

Sorry everyone for pissing on Flyboh's Fireworks, but his posts are just a bit tooo much like PR for Me !

I did spend some time trying to think if I had heard a positive Rumour to cheer everyone up on the BOH thread, but no I couldn't. Sorry !

Either I'm just trying to lighten the mood with some satirical wit ?

Or I am a Manic Depressive !

Whichever it is ? I apologise !

Only positive comments from now onwards.

You may not be hearing from Me for some time !

DOH !!!! there I go again ! ( sorry )

Would be good to hear some positive news about BOH sometimes! The last 12-18 months its all been negative depressing stuff.

O for someone to announce it as a base with 2-3 aircraft...

Tell me about it siggyboy, yet it gets the most views out of the threads. Even more than the likes of flybe, Heathrow etc. This all adds up to a lot of bull**** ha ha. Maybe thats the problem, people keep revealing things on here and scaring them off.

thread views

second coming ...

I'm afraid the relative popularity of the thread is not determined by the absolute number of views. This particular thread was opened on 13 December 2005; it is almost five years old. The busiest threads are replaced every few months, because they are so heavily used that they quickly become unwieldy. For example, take a look at Manchester - 7 and Manchester - 8. This Bournemouth - 2 thread has a respectable following as it deserves, but it is far from being the most popular topic in the forum. I hope this clarifies things for you.

SHED.
