....Your, constructive, ideas then of how that would be achieved? It's a business not an adventure playground. I think it will succeed now it's had a reality check. But, it won't become the major hub you want it to be....

ATC had a 'licence' of some sort 'pulled' I am led to believe after a CAA visit or word from the CAA anyway. Don't know the full details yet. However, they are open again so whatever the defficiency was, it is now not by the looks of it !

With all the rumours about the return of passenger airlines to Coventry I am suprised none of the regulars have been on here. Are you all sworn to secrecy.

Centre Cities - your post on 28th March has achieved your(presumed) aim of bringing some activity to the thread but I am not sure it has brought much additional to the sum of human knowledge.
I cannot tell you anything about airlines coming (or not). I have heard the rumours but who knows...
What we can say is that the Airport are advertising for fire fighters and handling staff to facilitate longer opening hours and I believe Serco are advertising for ATCOs for the same reason. So which comes first, longer hours to encourage business or extra business to require longer hours?

Cover and hours
Leofric.
Chicken or egg, my view is that they are interlinked and that one would not be happening without the other.
Deja vu springs to mind with the rumours.

Strangely, other than putting the fuel price on the home page, the airport do not seem to be using their website. The jobs mentioned were on recruitment agency sites. Some have disappeared because the deadline has passed but here is one example

Lapland flights are usually B738 or similar, occasionally B757.
It doesn't really matter, theyre always nearly sold out where ever they operate from and are licence for the operator to accpet easy cash from an extremely gullable public.
