Why is the Air Transat delayed? It landed on time.

Also why did the Fly Be from SOU divert this morning?

Has anyone heard more about the proposed NCL - LCY or the proposed new EZY routes?

EZY winter timetable is out and has some timing changes but also some missed days for routes such as Paris, Rome, Nice and Budapest. Could this be new routes for winter in addition to those expected by the arrival of the new aircraft?

What's the odds that every single XLA long haul flight from NCL will go out at least 1 hour late for the whole summer?

BRS and EMA (and possibly others, I haven't checked) also have days missing on some routes that in previous winters ran daily. Some of these days seem to be missing from December to early February.

It maybe that this is a cost-cutting exercise by easyJet, preferring to keep the a/c on the ground in the traditionally poor time of the year for loads in the UK aviation industry, rather than send them out lightly loaded on the days of the week that experience has presumably told them are the worst days for business on a particular route.

Not got much to add, staff want 4.3% and been offered 3.3%, so they've voted to take industrial action. Wait and see what happens.

I can't understand how an airline with 2 long haul jets (TCX) can fly the route pretty much on time without hiccup, and another with more than 2 jets at their disposal takes it over and performs dreadful.

Thanks Merchant Venturer.

I received an email from flybe this week which said they would announce new routes for the winter programme next week. Lets hope there is something for NCL in there!

Nothing more heard from XL's mouthpiece xlncl on this subject. Perhaps he's decided to keep gob shut in the light of their dreadful operating record so far.

XL (AIA) Cheap and nasty outfit with decrepid old aircraft running on the ragged edge

ncl-stn winter 05/06

Supprised nobody has spotted this yet!!

NCL-STN from start of winter timetable is going to be A319.

All 4 turnarounds using stn as base.

Looks like a few new routes are coming...

Perhaps this is the new aircraft expected in September/October?

It would free up an aircraft to do some new routes. I'm not sure what to expect from EZY though!!

I am surprised they have not considered competing with BA on LGW - I'm sure they could do well on this route!

An SAS flight from Oslo into NCL today, any reason why? To announce a new NCL-OSL route perhaps?
