Mombasa air is OK .It's a small family-size outfit running on tightish budget but if you salary is well negotiated before going , they'll keep their word on it .Nice chaps flying on their Let fleet and Mombasa is pretty cool and much less expensive than NBO . CP is a great guy too .
Don't expect airline-type ops , it's only small .

Thanks perceval! Looks like a nice place too.

looking for a job in Africa

After flying for the Catholic Mission in New Guinea and Africa, I am now looking for a commercial flying job in the bush.
Can anyone produce a list of commercial operators flying in the wild places of this world?

Hello all,

Has anyone ever actually scored a job from posting on here?:confused: From the outside looking in, seems kinda futile? But just in case, I think i'll cast my line... 1800 hours TT, 1650 PIC, 700 PIC Turbine... Tanzania sounds good to me!? :}

Twin otter's jobs in africa

Hi Fellow pilots
I'm looking for twin otters jobs in africa.I'm a low timer from school but got the rating done at Flightsafety in Toronto.Regards to all

GREGCART 24th Apr 2009 19:16

Otter rating

Hi,

How much did it cost to you for that rating with flightsafety?
Thanks

greg

Gooneybird 25th Apr 2009 09:05

Are you Canadian? probably far more chances there on twin otters. At low hours I think you'll be lucky. Anyone with a UN contract needs higher hours than that as a rule.

Tanzania perhaps. Any of you Tanzania based guys know about the Twotter ops there?
