A company in Zambia is urgently looking for caravan captains. I'm not sure of the exact requirements other than "a couple of hundred hours on type".

Frederico,
If I were applying, I would take out the EASA frozen ATPL from your resume. Just call it what it is, a commercial license.
Good luck.

..and that's the way it should be..protecting yourself from getting killed.Having flown for years in Africa, you should bring your flying skills, knowledge and judgement to do the job and survive in the mean time.

Yeah, maybe they should try an other way.
The only companies accepting newbees are the safest companies of Europe.

And the crapiest companies on earth only accept experienced pilots ...

just to know...

what it takes to get a pilots position on Africa??

by now what i got TT: 430, all of them are SE, 120 IFR, English level 5,. my whole aviation experience has been in Chile, 80% of the country is filled with the Andes mountains, so Bush style runways are nothing new for me, by now: no wife no children: nothing ties me,
actually working on a government office and looking (digging indeed) for a chance in aviation

Get another 100 odd hours if you can and then look at Botswana. A few Spanish speaking people there at the moment so you won't be totally out of your comfort zone
