STRANDED
Hey guys? I think am the only one lost here! Can you imagine I have not heard anything from KQ since I did my aptitudes on 7th Feb? Not even a regret mail? This is quite confusing so to speak, because now am seeing guys getting posted for their psychomotor tests. My application still reads active though...! Advice please

Taken from the experience of a cadet pilot :
http://www.askcaptainlim.com/aptitud...ills-test.html
Apparently, he passed the test.
Trend is important. Show consistent improvement of scores across the board, and keep these scores high and consistent. For instance, a trend of 6, 7, and 9 out of 10 is better than one of 8, 3, 7 out of 10.
Second: Muscle memory. In the test where you will use the mini keyboard, remember these keys with your fingers. Map them to your fingers such that you can press them without looking a way from the screen.
Finally, sleep. Rest enough. Relax. Chill. And eat a good, healthy breakfast.
High scores here indicate that the client has good hand eye coordination, sufficient reflexes, adequate muscle memory and the aptitude to learn and apply a physical skill.
Best of luck, people.

@brainy, i have a feeling that gamers
are going to have an easier time at the psychomotors, thats not to say that non-gamers wont, remember there are 5 sections in this test attention to detail and 'usharpness' will win out.
the thing thats worrying me is the joystick, from what i can gather those things are usually very sensitive, slightest movement has a profound effect on screen.... no room for 'the shakes'

@nickmory
When did you sit for the psychometrics?
Also, I don't think gamers have any advantage here. Not much, anyway. Sure, the experience will be a bit smoother for them, but at the end of the day, its precision that counts . So put your best feet forward .

thanks Aviatorette, hope you get yours too.
Congrats Dexman, on to the next one. mine's at 10:30.
On psychomotor, its basically all about multi-tasking, hand-eye coordination, memory and a bit of spatial reasoning.
Years ago before they got the simulator you would be invited for the orals at this stage then the panel questioned you while you filled a form with your details (multitasking) :-)
The others still waiting for the call, be patient KQ takes their time, even so they take some time before they terminate your application status on iPride.
Good luck fellow dreamers

Psychomotor calls/e-mails
@Dexman72 & @Flier2463, congrats for your progress!
I was already wondering why only a few from the 19th group had sailed through.
Thank God, hope came ALIVE!
