Official photographer dies from heart attack during military graduation parade. It is rumoured that his comment: "OK girls, now we'll have one with flash" was completely misunderstood by a blonde in the second rank.

The final nail was driven into the coffin of the RAF Regiment. The Queen decreed that as they had always been a bunch of girls, they should wear a girls uniform.

Soviet defence cuts have resulted in the latest Ceremonial/Speznatz unit being unveiled.

They are superb at drill and every 28 days are absolutely deadly!

If there is a God in heaven, he'll let me pin on the LLRC (long leg & rude conduct) Medals.

(That looks suspiciously like the annual festival parade in Edinburgh, and it will be on this coming weekend. I suppose it is to much to hope for)

For once there were no complaints about the uniform cutbacks due to a shortage of material.

or

Uniform cutbacks cause cracks to start showing in the ranks.
