Since most of his recruits were likely to get PVR in the next round of cuts the training Sargent figured they might as well work on some marketable skills.

The Regiment used to be quite good at Pig-Sticking, as any weekend leave passes day would attest to by the bunny boilers waiting outside the gates.

It was general knowledge that to be promoted to Corporal one had simply to be able to dribble and hold a rifle at the same time. Bloggs was shooting for Sergeant.
