Poor show from the airport's own website as the flight still shows as being on time but the easyjet website says it left for Tenerife 4 hours 5 minutes late and will return 4 hours 5 minutes late.
Delayed aircraft caused by an earlier flight delay due to immigration / customs restrictions

I guess it's not so important about flight delays on this forum, but funny how two members see different pictures from the information provided. Do I assume the 4 hour delay is in TFS itself caused by immigration/customs (why is this?) in which case there is nothing airlines can do about it?

Perhaps Southenduser would like to confirm whether or not his was the enquiry in question on the EZY f/bk page. If so his post was inaccurate and misleading; not a good start to his PPRuNe membership.

All very strange because when I checked it earlier on the easyjet website it showed the flight departed 4 hours 5 minutes late from Southend but now it doesn't with just the return leg showing a delay which is now down to maintenance and not customs and immigration.
Our operations department have arranged another aircraft for you. This is aircraft is coming from Rome and it will be arriving in Tenerife at 1630 local time. As soon as your aircraft arrives it will be prepared for departure to Southend. Thank you for your understanding.
My comment about the Southend airport arrivals board still stands as the late flight has now disappeared off their website.

Having looked at the easyJet f/bk page for the first time I'm surprised by the number of negative comments, especially those about the behaviour of their groundstaff. The complaints seem to come from across the network (although I couldn't see any from Southend based flights), and Manchester especially seems to attract much adverse comment. Of course EZY fly millions and millions of people every year and the complaints need to be seen in that light - but if true (and that must be doubtful in some cases) then they give a real cause for concern. I'm aware that it's a difficult job, with unsocial hours and passengers can try one's patience, but even so.......
I should say that I've certainly had no complaints about the EZY staff at Southend, Stansted, Gatwick, Newcastle, Inverness or Bristol when I've passed through those airports. I've never flown from Luton, before you ask!

Seems fine on the Southend arrival board for me LTN man, showing an expected arrival of 2154. I have family on the flight so was checking and it was updated to be expected at 2145 from mid afternoon. Not sure what your seeing but it doesn't seem to be quite right?'

LTN man was correct that EZY U24858 G-EZTK have left TFS for Rome. After 4 hour delay.the U27442 G-EZTM is on schedule to North France expect to Arrive 21.51

Hi everyone, sorry for the delay I'm not a daily viewer. My post was in response to an email from customer services. I don't do FB, Twitter etc etc.. I have an ongoing issues with easy over an earlier flight to Tenerife. I won't go into details but have been offered a free return flight.
