Where is best to practice the online assessments?

Good luck all!

You did aptitude tests for DEC NTR?

321abc 18th July 2025 20:52

What tests did you get for a NTR DEC? So far I’m only showing the work related behaviour test

FlyboyUK 19th July 2025 11:05

A few years ago interview process for NTR DEC was a group exercise, a competency based interview and if successful from that stage, a sim check. There were no aptitude tests for DEC

I’m very interested in the type rated DEC UK

Do Easy offer PHI & LOL these days? Also, do they have share save schemes running??

One final question…. How much would a Captain typically gross annually in sector pay at a regional UK base?

Thanks!

Frozenpilot

In lieu of a better response, I believe the ‘Easyjet UK v J2’ thread has a pretty good breakdown of recent figures.

Hope that helps.

PHI is comprehensive BUPA coverage. LOL is poor, 1.3x salary but you can top this up (or as most do sort out your own elsewhere at own cost).

Sector pay for a Captain should average at least £15,000 a year.

Thanks very much for the responses!!

Offered an assessment centre today. If anyone else is going through the process feel free to DM

Anyone know if/when easyJet NTR UK experienced FO positions will open? Previous Airbus experience but now flying the B737. Seems odd that only Captain positions are available at the moment when other airlines are crying out for all ranks. Cheers :ok:

santacruz 24th July 2025 09:10

Any reason why they're not recruiting into Scottish bases?

How long is the wait for a slot up there? USed to be quite a few years I believe?

FlyboyUK 25th July 2025 11:24

santacruz think you've answered your own question, not recruiting for there I'd imagine because they're popular bases

321abc 25th July 2025 13:41

Anyone know what sim the NTR candidates will be assessed on? 320?

Assessment

Does anyone know which group exercise scenario they tend to use for the NTR captains assessment?

As is always the case with these, the exercise itself isn’t important. Working well with others is.

So get involved, included others- particularly any quiet ones. Smile at people, including the assessors (from time to time) and you’ll be fine.

Hello,
Does anyone know roughly how long the wait time would be for a DEC to get BCN base? Or any Spanish base?

enzino 6th August 2025 08:53

Any info about T&Cs in Portugal? PPJN information is dated 2017.

Hi guys,
Anyone has a up-to-date estimation of the Spanish salary ? I heard something around 43k a year plus sector pay but I don't know if it is for full time or 8/4 or 9/3 contracts...
Thanks

The majority of contracts are seasonal.
So you need to pro-rate the pay.
