I believe it’s 3500 total time on jets over a certain weight and over 365 days in the company. But someone can surely correct me if I’m wrong …

No time in BA requirement if you have 1000hrs PIC on type or 2000hrs PIC on a different transport category type.

If you meet these requirements, there will probably be a command available at LHR or LGW as soon as you can put a bid in. The caveat being that these are unpopular on the junior end for a variety of well documented reasons.

Hi, how long did it take to wait for the capacity test result? And anyone have any idea what the pass rate is…?
TIA

Did you do only the capacity tests on that day?

Or anything else?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi all,

Recently applied for DEP long haul and through to the video interview, anyone got any information of this they could kindly DM me?

Thanks a lot.

From what I remember, it’s asking why you’d like to join BA and maybe the challenges the airline is facing currently. 3 minutes to answer each question. Unlimited time to prepare. Did mine back in October so not sure if it’s changed.

good luck!

Thank you for the info.

I have booked a Crew Capacity test for 1 hours in LHR.

Is anybody in this phase?
Will these be only tests or will there be also an interview?

Thank you for your help!

I asked them via mail. They confirmed that on that day there will be only capacity test. Good luck.

I am preparing from both SkyTest and latestpilotjobs and I find latestpilotjobs software is more reliable. Anyone can share any tips?

Thanks,
Yigit

I saw that latest pilot jobs was not updated since last september. I am not sure if it is true or not, but that's what's written on their website

So there’s no interview or group exercise for the assessment day ? Just the capacity test?

Raph737 17th January 2024 08:46

How long did you guys have to wait for assessment results? Thank you.

My daughter was called in her car on the way home from the Assessment session. Straight onto the A380.

Thank you for your response. For context, was she airbus rated? Wondering if they are assigning airbus rated guys/gals the 350/380 and Boeing rated the boeing fleets.

ycank 17th January 2024 13:30

Just the capacity test. I will clarify this after this friday:)

I think that’s quite accurate - at least from what I have seen lately

Yes Ex RAF Voyager (A330). Conveniently the RAF Voyager conversion was done by Air Tanker civilian instructors. An RAF £££ Grant helped ALTP course, and Instructors signed off your CAA Type Rating. Didn’t help RAF pilot retention!
