Hi all. Has the format of the assessment process changed now? I’ve been invited to book onto a capacity test at LHR. Wasn’t the capacity test, interview and group exercise done all on one day in the past? Any reason for the change?

I have sim assessment early Feb. Seems it's now in 380 sim, has anyone been through new sim assessment and if so send me a PM.

I have seen the recent flyer BA have produced with salary and benefits highlighted. The Long Haul salary is only up to year 7, is anyone able to provide the full FO/SFO pay scales akin to the Virgin table on their thread? Have taken a look on PPJN but it seems to be somewhat out of date.

The LH scale goes up linearly every year till the top at Year34 so just extrapolate out from those figures.
The short-haul scale starts at the same point and also goes up linearly over 34yrs, but each increase is only 72% of the LH increase.
Capt salary is 1.33x the FO salary on the same fleet and paypoint.

Doe anyone know the current upgrade time on the A320 fleet?

Assessment now on 320 for type rated and 380 for NTR

Based on the current bid run for the 2024 training year, very very short. You would have to join as an FO, then assuming you met the experience requirements, place a bid for P1 on the A320. That bid would be processed. There are pilots who joined in 2023 who have been given a successful P1 bid for 2024, so 1-2 years.

Out of interest - what are those experience requirements? Thanks in advance
