Are they calling pilots without CAA licence but willing to change it?

MZB your private messages inbox is full, was trying to reply to your DM
VFR4EVER - as long as you have held one in the past and are willing to convert back

I interviewed with my ICAO ATPL but had already finished the UKCAA exams and started the conversion process. Wasn’t an issue as I had my license completed by the time I was offered a start date.

as per the job ad they require you to either

Hold a UK Part-FCL Licence

or

Hold an EASA licence and have previously held a UK Part-FCL licence and meet the “Third Country CPL and ATPL licence conversion requirements”

There is no extra payment for having multiple
licences

In life, many things are written down, and then there is the way it is actually done, often these two are not the same.

Be sure to mention that in the interview ;)

I think all UK airlines are going to have troubles hiring pilots facing S24.

hello, could you please also send me a DM?

Golfss 12th September 2023 17:50

Could someone please explain to me how the payment structure works?

For example, if I join as a SH FO, say in 6 years I go for command, will I be on the payment schedule as a command year 1, or year 6?

And when downgrading after another 6 years to go for long haul RHS, will I then be on the schedule as a year 12 LH FO, or year 1 (effectively either way a chunky pay cut!)

hunterboy 12th September 2023 17:57

You slide across at Paypoint 6…every year that passes you go up a paypoint on the anniversary of your date of joining.
