Easy assessment

Are there any folks that already did the assessment at Luton amd care to share some details about it. It's gonna be my first CIV assessment so I am curious what it is all about.

Cheers!

DTC and still waiting to hear about further assessment.
Emailed them a couple of weeks ago and told my app is still under review and will hear shortly. Anyone else in the same position?

Assessment dress code

Good morning.
From The easyjet recruiting team email inviting to The assessment:

"The assessment day is designed to be informative and fun. We’ll be running a range of activities throughout the day, including company presentations, group exercises and a personal interview. The dress code is smart or business dress."

How did you guys/gals Who already attended dressed up?

Thanks a lot for replying.

Non type rated easyjet recruitment?

Try to find a suit in the same style and quality as the easyjet pilots uniform! In fact you can pick up mine! Never bothered to unpack it, comes without the stripes. Should be funny!

Worried

I too was pleased to receive the email inviting me to assessment.

However, I logged in there were no dates to choose from. Infact, there has never been any dates to choose from. I have been logging in several times per day since I received the email.

Now, instead of being able to log on, I receive a message telling me
"The period of time allowed to access and fill out this questionnaire has expired"

I have been trying to contact someone at the assessment end as I am really worried that everyone else seems to have dates and I don't. So far with no success. If anyone has a phone number for them, could you pm me please?

Hurry Curry, I am in the same boat. However I suspect it is an IT glitch at the moment. I too have been constantly checking to no avail and shall bounce them off an email in due course.

Don't panic until they tell you it's time!

Welcome to the low cost market...

Boing7117 23rd July 2013 04:59

I too struggled to get an assessment date when invited.

After checking several times a day for weeks I've emailed the standard EasyJet email and received a response which is both disappointing and frustrating.

They currently have no assessment dates available and aren't planning anymore any time soon.

They've assured me THEY will get in touch with ME when dates become available. They will keep my application on file for 12 months.

Why oh why would you invite someone to assessment only to not be able to provide them with one?

This is a PFO in my book. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

flyingcamel 23rd July 2013 15:29

Yep, time to panic!

:ugh:

Hurry Curry 25th July 2013 19:56

Gutted. So, so, annoyed by this. How can they congratulate people and tell them they have interviews and then just say sorry, there are no dates for you?

f27m50 26th July 2013 07:29

if it was so good, why are you not at vueling? :p

Mr M. 26th July 2013 11:20

Hi f27m50!

There is were I am working now, like my other two partners!!

:ok::ok:

f27m50 26th July 2013 11:22

:D on another note,i strongly suspect the sim assess will be conducted on a 737 rather than on the bus!

A4 26th July 2013 11:27

Sim assessment is on Airbus at Burgiss Hill. easyJet no longer have any 737 aircraft or sims.....

ragamuffin 31st July 2013 12:20

Can any of those who have got to the sim stage, say how long after assessment day at LTN the sim check occured?

Captthunder 31st July 2013 12:33

I'm "reliably" informed that invites for the sim take after the assessment and are scheduled approx. 2 - 3 weeks later. Sessions take place in Southampton on a 737. Although easy have no 737's its not an assessment of how well you can fly an Airbus just your general flying ability, CRM etc.

Don't take this as gospel but source is normally accurate.

Any feedback on assessment days would be appreciated.

ragamuffin 31st July 2013 13:57

Thanks Capthunder

Will now see if i can get some refresher/practice time on it
Appreciated
