Hi,

I used 'Hesse and Schrader' for training. The test is not the same but it helps to retrain your brain for some of the tests. And further you get used to this kind of tests again. Besides this I had a look into the ATP question again. Most of them were related to OPS, Performance and HPL.

For Screening Prep I used Easyflighttraining.com.

Long first day. Tests run from 9am to 5pm and then you do a group discussion. Next day only SIM and Interview.

most annoying, you are annoyingly nice! Good luck in the assessment, thanks four your answers!

For the day 1 tests, is there a fixed pass rate for each of the tests and if you fail one you are out, or do they use the tests to build an overall profile of the applicant? Anyone knows?

Anybody interested sharing a Sim in Berlin (B737 / Screening Prep) around July 17th please pm.

Hi folks,
Does anyone know what's the status of the recruitment at the mo. Is it still ongoing, or is finished?
Like a month ago I received a message with apologies for the delay in processing an application... and still quiet.....
Any thoughts?
any info appreciated....

Hi, yes recruiting is going on. They need a lot of pilots next year. Assessment is quite difficult and a good preparation (including Sim - lots of experienced pilots fail this screening) required. Recent collective labor agreement is now in force and it seems they have become a really good company. Good luck on your assessment!

Aerologic

Is it still that bad to fly for Aerologic these days. I see they don’t require German fluency in their job post and say it’s only preferable. And how do the 15 days rotations work, do you get 15 consecutive days off as in some other commuting contracts?

500goaround 17th Jan 2023 17:38

How about some details or example questions if you remember them? I checked out pilotenboard . de and it seems like its all about the ALFA/ab initio screenings. Which dont seem too relevant with a direct entry position. What can a 737 rated guy expect in a screening? raw data SID and NDB/ILS? or OEI ops and failures and decision making? Are the technical questions specific to your current A/C type or generic ATPL only?

500goaround 17th Jan 2023 18:25

To the person that PM'd me (you know who you are, I'm not sure if revealing the name would be OK :-) )
Thanks a lot for the info, really appreciate it! Unfortunately I cant reply to the PM as I'm still on probation with my account here, hence why I am replying here.

Are the ATPL questions being asked in german as well? That might be a significant hurdle to cross.

batman012 17th Jan 2023 21:15

I heard they just had a pay raise, anyone knows the new pay scale?

oceancrosser69 27th Jan 2023 19:30

Pay rise around 10%

no, its not a commuting roster like in Asia, you get your 15 days off in 3 or 4 pieces. Usually not 15 days, as they are short of pilots, so you have around 13 OFF days a month average…..

captain.weird 7th Feb 2023 20:52

Anyone got the new Terms and Conditions scheme of AeroLogic?

ControlledRest777 10th Jun 2023 03:24

Just wondering that how are you able to pass the screening without knowing German language? Still some of the tests are only in German?

As it’s not a requirement anymore.

BRinChina 10th Jun 2023 07:34

It is still ‚required‘ in the practical sense, just not ‚required‘ at native level.

Flying Clog 11th Jun 2023 09:29

Correct. They use the term 'German not required' loosely. If you're not fluent, good luck!

Is it frowned upon to use google translate during the interview?

Ridiculous language, why would anyone think up an umlaut.
Most languages are insane, mind you..
