No.. there is a seperate FO process done with interpersonnel. The SO selection is for 'cadets'. They explained they have an agreement with the LBA where they can take NTR guys, simulator train them as cruise relief pilots, and once they get 750 hours they then qualify for a full ZFT TR. It saves the cost of having to do base training in a 777 where supposedly only cycling the gear once costs 4.5k in maintenance costs.

But even once you become FO, you still have cruise relief duties. You can expect about 300 landings over 10 years (thats according to their math).

Thank you, well It’s long Haul, sounds reasonable 300 landing over 10years, which means 30 per year. Anyway I don’t speak German, I have no chance to get called for an assessment

Hello,
There is a selection process brought out Interpersonal? last year was Aerologic in Berlin...It has been changed?
What can you say about the First officers Selection/inviattion to an assessment? are they selecting?
