News

Any news or recruitment lately? Or bases to be opened?

Thread has gone terribly quiet...

Fat Dog 5th Sep 2013 06:00

Still ongoing, don't worry.

McBruce 5th Sep 2013 09:22

Had interview with them recently, offered a start date next year so they are working quite a bit ahead of the planned courses.

737 Jockey 5th Sep 2013 15:11

They're overwhelmed with expansion, recruitment, training etc. they need lots of pilots, both seats.... Be patient, and persevere... As my esteemed colleague Captplaystation said... it is definitely worth it!

:ok:

chrian_dk 5th Sep 2013 15:36

when next year...

chrian_dk 8th Sep 2013 14:32

i called them a month ago, they had interview two days later for me, and start date get this, five later, for the dec position, that was a bit early for me. i'm currently waiting for a date between the 14 and 18th oct, i'll keep you posted...

de facto 9th Sep 2013 08:39

Hi chrian,

Who did you call?:p

LNIDA 9th Sep 2013 13:32

If your type rated and current on the CL/NG then an interview will likely follow, for basing the companies objective is to get people to where they want to be within 6-12 months within the confines of the base structure and core restrictions.

If i recall a further 8 738 due in 2014 and 4 or 5 still to come this year so an extra 12 or 13 aircraft, less any CL disposals

I have done over 12 months and they do what they say on the tin, money is very good, excellent training and a very positive passenger experience suggest they'll be around to stay.

You won't probably know your base until after 2nd week of starting and some do end up in core bases on short term contract (with additional cost of living money) to ensure correct mix of experience with so many new crew.

de facto 9th Sep 2013 13:54

Thanks.

money is very good
How much is it before tax?

kick the tires 9th Sep 2013 22:51

LHS €9500 before tax (from a buddy who just started there)

de facto 10th Sep 2013 05:15

It makes me wanna :{ but thanks for info.
The price for fresh air I guess...

chrian_dk 10th Sep 2013 09:10

it's 8884 euro plus 17 pr. block hour, so at 80 pretty much 10500, before tax. find a contact number online shouldn't be too hard.

ReallyAnnoyed 10th Sep 2013 09:17

You plan on flying 80 x 12 = 960 scheduled block hours per year then?
