Frazer, any idea where they are heading?
The thing I heard was Swaziland. I tried to check their flight plans today, but they where confidential accordint to the Flight Plan Center at Arlanda. The swedish regs are now painted over and some African regs are to be painted before thay can leave.

Any more info would be appreciated!

The 747s now got their african regs:
SE-RBP becomes 3D-NED
SE-RBN becomes 3D-NEE
and SE-RBH becomes 3D-NEF

The latest rumours says that 3D-NED will leave this week.

No movement on the B747s yet. There was some navigation-equipment stolen from the first A/C to leave, so the departure has been delayed.

Normally that is an indicator that there is still money owed to someone.
My understanding is that they are on their way to Sharjah so that the checks that are due can be "pencil whipped".

Thumbs up NE AIRLINES FLIES AGAIN, LEASED L1011-50 NOW IN DKR!!

FYI - PLUMMER

The problem with M.I.A. avionics in Stockholm on a sole B747 in appears to be only related to vendors of previous operator Transjet and they are being replaced by insurance...

Also ref last years fiasco.... NEY has settled, made or is making repayment arrangements with all of the PREVIOUS L1011 crews and new fiscal controls and finance proceedures in place to assure collections from customers before time of service.

FYI - I can say with a high degree of accuracy that ALL but one (1) Copilot of last years L1011 flight deck crew are on good terms, they are communicating, working things out, payments are being made or they are are working with NE AIRLINES again.

Also my view....the two B747-200B crew members reporting (moaning) on this website were officially NOT officially employed nor were they contractors of NE AIRLINES and they need to contact the actual disreputable party that Hi-Jacked the NE Airlines AOC and Logo, and hired pilots, flight attendants and fraudulently made them NE ID without any form of permission, consideration or agreement. That same party that did the above is IS NOT someone to get tangled up with or YOU WILL get just a wet-ass.... and you know what that means.

EARL - FYI NE AIRLINES did not have any B747 last year!!!

HAPPY FLYING!!!

JP

I find this hilarious, whatever happened to picking up the phone and reporting this "hijacking" to the Saudi PCA or the airline that contracted NE Airlines......

Seems relatively simple to me.

Arrow The AOC missuse by 3rd party was reported to Saudi PCA

MUTT... thanks for the reply and the anwer is.. WE DID!!!

Confirmnig I heard the phone calls and saw the NE AIRLINES letter to out to Saudi PCA and other CAA authorities in the region regarding the unauthorized B747 operator (SABA?) misusing NEY code and AOC. There was also a cease and dissist letter to that operator that was sent via fax to the hotel.

From what we heard from an offical NEA crew member that was in the same hotel waiting for the L1011 that within 1 to 2 hours the WHOLE B747 GROUP who was operating in the hotel was out of there, no comment, in trouble and unable to be contacted...

The whole thing was VERY UPSETTING and not normal. The folks just called to say they had B747 but needed more planes to "back them up" and if we could fly a B747... They wanted information on rates of the L1011, on hte insurance, NEY ops specs and some normal stuff and they RAN WITH IT.

That AOC issue was all on top of the non-payment of airplane and fuel issues with Worldwide Charters, Inc. of Canada... and the truth shall prevail!!!!

ABSOLUTELY no agreement was made or signed to put any B747 on the AOC last yaer, we did not know the people, no money exhanged hands and the L1011 did not fly for them at all....

I just dont think there is any real case history or laws regarding AOC theft, conversion or hi-jacking as it was bizare and surreal.... to say the least... Gosh I wonder what would an AOC HI-JACK transponder code would be if there was one??

The beat goes on...

Hasn't the Hadj-flights already started?

As a long time Ppruner, this all looks and sounds like the Guvner for real.

See this and note how 'professional' the site is; done in Xara webstyle, $99 at your local PC shop (the Guv used Frontpage!)
