The problem with this kind of questionnaire is the misleading fact that it only shows the conditions of people employed, some of them for many years.
What you would get if you start now is probably worse, you can subtract about 5000 Sterling from the above number e.g.

STW - absolutely correct.
I wouldn't get out of bed for the t's and c's that my employer now offers to new joiners. Not for the we have to put up with from our 'caring' company.
If I had it to do over again in the current climate I would find a far more lucrative/enjoyable profession and fly for fun on the side.

Time for some perspective from somewhere a bit closer to the bottom of the spectrum I think...

Current a/c type: C208B. That's right! 2 crew SE Turbine ops
Years in service: 8 months
Type of airline (name if you’re brave!): The worlds "10th most dangerous" airline
Base country: Indo
Hours per month (average): 60ish... But could be anywhere from 30-100+
Monthly salary (before tax): USD$1285
Monthly salary (after tax): USD$1285
Additional payments: USD$2500 for initial training bond, USD$1500 for upgrade bo... Oh, wait. You meant payments to me, Didn't you? Ummm, USD$20/day if based in Papua (aka "danger money")
Any benefits?: Easy access to Dengue, Malaria and Hepatitis A thru F, low cost (and standard) of living, even easier access to easy girls, maids who do your laundry, clean your room and cook you dinner, being treated like a demigod by local population and apparently my family can fly for half price.
Happy (yes/no): Despite all the crap you have to put up with (mostly govt dept related), generally yes, but only because it's still fun!
Hope you all feel a little better about life now

I can imagine that many young pilots in their 20's working for some p.o.s. P2T/P4F airline will still indicate that they're happy, but it does not accurately reflect the true state of the industry.

Maan this thread is actually working very good, let's leave it as it is.
It says years in service, enough.
Age/what you would get now etc are irrelevant, and what you'd get now is extremely changable with aviation cycles (pretty sure they weren't offering 250.000 dollars in China 15 years ago..).
Good (fixed) roster pattern possibly with no red eyes flying, lots of leave, as much NET money as possible, good base and aircraft is what counts. And we have all these info. All the rest is talk.
