I believe there’s a Ryanair scheme where you can do an MCC and the 737 type rating.
good luck!

i think you’ll find that an MCC course completion certificate is a pre requisite to apply for any First Officer cadet position. They are asking you to upload your certificate online along with your licence, medical etc.

The sim check for experienced pilots consists of a short LOFT and an OPC.
So basically your first takeoff will be without failures and you'll have a heart attack in the cabin or something like that and the OPC part is an engine failure with an upcoming non-precision (RNAV/VOR/NDB) approach. Everything will be flown with flight directors and you are free to use the autopilot as much as you like. The only thing that is flown manually is the landing phase.
They know that you haven't flown anything else than a Cessna before, yes. But I guess it wouldn't hurt if you take 2-3 hours in at least a fixed base (preferably a full flight) simulator before the assessment.
Good luck!

Thats why it’s mandatory to have the MCC, which would have given you 20 hours multi pilot/multi jet experience. The wording is a little confusing on the job advert, but I believe the ‘preferable’ relates to having completed an integrated course rather than it being preferable to have completed an MCC.

So if I understand correctly, the requirements for rated DEC just went from 1000h pic on type to 500h pic on type AND 2000h pic on more than 20 tons. They must have too many candidates...

Norwegian 787 OSM Differences
Hi all
Regarding Norwegian 787, I understand the first 3 years are with rishworth. I hear the OSM contract is better which you move on to but cannot find any info anywhere on what it is - even OSM don’t reply to emails.
Can anyone shed light on pay, pension, roster, days off, flight pay etc.
thanks

New joiners are been sent to LGW at the moment, also DUB and EDI.
Spain seems to be difficult to get right now.
