Yeah, it must be pretty historic to be recruited by one bottom feeder and then contracted to another.

So, to confirm, will the 737 Max in the UK & Ireland be separate from the standard 737-800 operations? Will the pilots currently flying the 800 be able to bid the Max or is that completely separate? I understand the U.S. operation is solely Max.

uchy. Been asked many times on several threads. Hundreds of pages. And the answer....... never been fully answered. Figures in NOR K on PPJN so no reason to doubt them and following was posted by someone on another thread about a month ago.
"Different tax codes will result in different incomes, however, based on Captain salary with per diem and 60 block hrs it works out £5925 after tax and FO again 60 block hours £3957 after tax for non-married UK tax payer."
Remember you won't be working for Norwegian. You work for Rishworth for 3 years and then OSM. You have no employment relationship with the actual employer as they hide behind agencies.

Why would any company quote net figures ? net is entirely dependant upon personal circumstances and the tax authority being paid. The only sensible figure to quote is gross.

is not a big deal...
doesn't matter where are you based, if Riga or London or Spain....and doesn't matter the local taxes...
at the end your montly income +/- some bucks and after been taxed and converted, still approx. the same...around 4000 Euros..
If someone would tell me 3700 euro or 4000 euro, doesn't make any differences to me to take or leave a job !--...is the reality!
Besides...this is black on white what OMS and Norwegian write or use to tell to the Roadshow.!
Anyway not my "problem" as I have other interest and not to enter in Norwegian ----I just thought to give people asking some more knowledge that i gathered during the roadshow.

I beg to differ Reveal1.
If I am looking at a new job, gross pay (basic, flight pay etc) is what I need to know. The actual figure the company will pay me. To be told you will get approximately £X after tax and social security payments makes me suspicious. There are numerous things that impact your tax code that the company would not be aware of and should not be quoting net figures for an individual. I personally would not go anywhere if they could not tell me precisely what gross figures will be paid and that is the information that has been requested on here many many times and never properly answered.
This, together with your employment status whilst in the first three years with Rishworth - self employed or not ?

Agree with you...
gross figures are clear in Norwegian, once you meet them you're going to know everything.
That is entirely dependant of the flight hours and if you worked/chosed , in your days OFF to fly (if I remeber was smthing like 360 euro for FO)..that the sole reason I specified "approx" in the net figures!
If then we speak about taxes this is another story and we need a full day to extrapolate.
Of course in some country you pay more like Italy, and other you pay less like Riga ...but ....if I remember well the law is clear, i will make you the point:
doesn't matter if you pay for example the taxes in Riga and maybe you paying 25% less because then if you are Uk residente, once you come back to UK, you need to pay the difference in your country, if in your country the tax is more, as it is for sure...but many people seems to care less about this matter!
