Did they give you a reason for rejecting you?

Narrow Runway

NR,

If you don't mind me asking, what hours experience do you have?

Thanks.

What information do you have to substantiate your claim that low hour recruitment has stopped?

May I politely ask how do you know your result from the compass testing and interview if your letter gave regrets but no reason? My understanding is that the Company do not give feedback.

I wouldn't normally press and I don't mean to rub salt in a wound but wish to stop further pointless calls to a busy HR Dept from those who might read your post and think feedback is being offered.

Best of luck for the future

757 Speedbrakes,
Can you advise where u got this information? The recruitment page is still allowing people to apply for the low hours positions and also I was informed by one of the Captains in the recruitment team that there were 20 positions for Low Hours non TR'd guys.

Thanks

Burger81: From the horses mouth!!

Unfortunately limit is placed by CAA but might be further low houred recruitment in the new year, hence why the application may still be open so all not lost! Best of luck!!

757 Speedbrakes, thanks for the reply. Did u manage by any chance to get info on the mix of integrated and modular guys taken on, or was it all OAA cadets again?

Thanks

Bond and utter frustration

Got a call from Jet2 HR last week giving me the contact number to bond software to chase down the issue. I originally applied on the 28th August and they have finally confirmed Jet2 have received the application after being fobbed off on the telephone by bond numerous times and told to email, the issue being the email not being received properly. I was told by HR they are looking at the type rated guys the middle of this month.

This whole recruitment drive seems to have been a big anticlimax.

Loads of people seem to have struggled with the online application system.

Then, others like me have not heard anything at all since applying. At least a "thanks but no thanks" would have been nice.

Be patient....

Two years ago a friend applied at this time with TR 757/767 and flying hours to meet their requirements. He did not hear anything at all until the following January, when he was invited to interview. Over three months waiting time. He got the job and has now been with them for the last 18 months with no regrets and enjoying his flying......

Good luck to all who are waiting...
