Ryanair exodus, what is the plan?

No MOLG, you just don't get it. You're one of life's 'I told you so's,' aren't you? The proverbial self righteous individual who stands in the corner and points the finger. Well if you had any inclination in the slightest to attempt to understand my postings with regards to Ryanair, then you might have some idea? But no, yourself and Blackred have seen all that you want in order to attack those currently under attack. Well, we see the type of characters that the both of you are! Getting kicks behind the keyboard. The people with all the answers all of the time

Anyone who constantly drones on about crew sleeping in staff car parks and about how Ryanair pilots are to be avoided like the plague when it comes to airline recruitment gets boring after a time. Even you seem to accept that? But let me put one thing straight for you and all your sour mouthed chums. I have always attempted to give a balanced view on life in Ryanair. I have stood up for the good and I have presented the bad. I have always informed perspective joiners to research what they are joining before they actually commit. If you don't believe me then check my previous posts. Now that I present a post that attempts to define why it is difficult, impossible even, for those within Ryanair to organise some company wide collective representation and you assume that i'm ready to torch the place! A typical symptom of a keyboard vulture.

@MichaelOLearyGenius - I think you will find that most Ryanair pilots did not 'leapfrog' anyone. Who was being leaped over? The qualified and experienced pilots who did not match Ryanair's recruitment drive? The FIs who became instructors because they could not get an interview when they finished their own training?
Tell me: If experienced pilots, FIs and turboprop pilots had been targetted by the low cost operators and those pilots accepted work with terms and conditions similar to those accepted by the current crop of cadets, would you be critical of them for bending over too?
Because it seems to me than anyone working for the low cost airlines would have to accept the 'trousers round the ankles' scenario, lest another unemployed experienced pilot take the job ahead of them. Blaming cadets using the SSTR tag is easy. But it's only part of the story.
The low cost airlines will get their pound of flesh in either scenario. If they took experienced FOs and Captains instead of cadets, the cost of OCCs would rise and wages for those experienced pilots would fall. Low cadet wages has kept Captain's pay higher than it would otherwise be, just ask anyone at Vueling.

We are supposedly 'professionals' and yet to read some of the illiterate offerings that often appear on these pages, one would think some haven't progressed beyond primary school English.
If you received a letter or email from a fellow 'professional', a lawyer or doctor for example, that was littered with spelling and punctuation mistakes, I would suggest that you might query the sender's crediblity.

I'm just tired of the constant misuse of grammar and bad spelling on a supposed professional forum. We all make mistakes, we're not all perfect, but the problem does appear to be alarmingly widespread.

It was a post on a rumour forum, in affect a chat room.

Dont kid ourselves, dere is absolutlely noting profesional about dis website when it cums 2discusions regarding ryr, Mainly due to non connected posters interferring.
Not the spelling thats the problem on this forum at all!! any wonder people could not be bothered rechecking a spelling with jokers like MOL genius on posts they shouldn't be on.

As you well know, my criticism of pint'alfempty was for making a 'petty' comment instead of making a constructive contribution to the discussion. Where poor grammar and spelling renders prose unintelligible I am also happy to pour scorn on the perpetrator, but that was not the case with Callsign Kilo's post. If you do not agree with his point, say so and say why. Staying silent on the issues but opening your gob to highlight minor spelling or grammar mistakes in the context of this 'professional' forum is undoubtedly petty!
I see that both of you forgot to use capital letters on your usernames. Proper nouns have capital letters. I trust you will re-register forthwith.

Post edited for poor spelling and punctuation. I do agree, we are professionals and poor spelling is bad form. The irony is that Ryanair thread, focusing on a the plausibility of a pilot exodus, has managed to debate everything in between. Nothing new I suppose.

I just heard Ryanair will cut 31 routes from Alicante...
The airline is 'forced' to use the airbridges and face a bill of 2m euros, so they will remove 9 from its 11 based aircraft...
Do you guys think this could also be due to the large amount of pilots who left the company already?? Sounds easy enough: Not enough pilots -> scrap some routes...
Like in Stalin's period, propaganda is more important than hard facts...

It seems any pilots leaving for BA are likely to start resigning from this week on.
Whatever about trying to stop the hemorrhage within, FR are seriously going to have to look at the cost placed on a new recruit, if they want to attract enough newbies to replace those big losses in pilot numbers.
Time to start putting a value, rather than just a cost, on your employees me thinks.

A new batch of 12 cadets coming through the factory every 2 weeks is going to cover some of the losses of SFO and DEC scheme reopened.
This wonderfully written letter about pay increases this year is purely to entice a few that are thinking of leaving to hang on for better times but I can almost guarantee it won't happen!
Wish I had the hours to leave :-(
