There is a long threat with all the T+C`s in the forum, just look thru it.

Just saw the ads on that orange background site regarding Non-TR F/O jobs on the B744, B777 and A330. Non-TR Captains only on the "Bus"

I thought it was a nice touch to offer jobs, "IF" the candidate pays for his own TR after being screened. Also a nice touch to require recency on Boeing equipment (not B742) for the B744 & B777. Same conditions apply for the A330...must have recent experience on the A320/340.

Age limits aside, these guys are missing a serious pool of talent amongst the many B742 Classic guys who are currently on the street.

Moan, moan, winge, winge........................... Anyone in a similar situation? B742 with tons of experience, but no glass-time?

Wilbur60 - My understanding is that there is no chance to upgrade to command for an expat FO - ie., permanent right seat

regarding the 742 - with the failure rate that is well documented, one should probably not attempt KAL without a significant amount of in-type glass time

Virtually no chance for F/Os to upgrade either.
