Look at the facts, IALPA are spineless. They have dropped all cases against Ryanair for the Dub pilots without even asking them what they thought. What does MOL think when he see this? Ryanair is not going to change and without every pilot standing up and saying no he will keep doing what he is doing

The Lord helps those who help themselves.
The ALT pilots spent millions of their own money to stick a finger in O'Learys eye on his takeover attempt.
This contrasts starkly with the FR pilots seeming reluctance to even join up and enter the fray.
I guess IALPA may have decided they have enough on their plate to deal with without baby sitting you lot in FR. The rank and file in ALT are demanding the Exec concentrate on matters at hand.
Perhaps thats it.

IALPAs lawyers analyzed the legal technicalities of the case and the effect that the Supreme court verdict had on it. They weren't assured they had a case so IALPA in conjunction with IMPACT wisely decided not waste money on a case they couldn't win.

Flying Officer Kite I never suggested or believed for one minute that MOL would. Ryanair never will. A measure of force will be required. This worked well before, the Year 2000 agreement was reached in this manner as the Pilots were shortly to go on strike, at the time it was a very reasonable deal.
As I said before, I am not a UK citizen, I am not UK based. I don't care where our Pilots come from, just that they stick together to stop being exploited.
Who am I to force my conditions on FR you ask? Well I was indifferent once too. There is some serious exploitation of people happening here. All we ask is fair treatment, that is a basic right I would have thought?

CaptKretin, you refer to the Ryanair pilots as useless tossers. It may be that you will find yourself, one day, if you live long enough, working for an airline whose management has fragmented the multi-national and widely dispersed workforce sufficiently to render all attempts at unity and union recognition almost impossible.
Instead of blubbing out your juvenile, schoolroom insults, how about you give us tossers the benefit of your questionable wisdom and tell us how to achieve the recognition we would like?
You and your ilk are a waste of bandwidth most of the time in these forums, smug in your supposedly secure and union protected job. I hope for your sake your spend your whole career in the safe and warm arms of your present employer. If and surely when you have the gross misfortune to find yourself in need of a job, please don't even think of applying at Ryanair, no matter how desperate you are. You will not be welcome if I find you in the crewroom.
The stable 5/4 roster, every night at home with my family and over £65.000.00 in the bank every year will obviously not suit you. Assuming you are a Captain of course.

Ryanair pilots' union fails to show

Aer Lingus pilots union has been forced to withdraw its labour claims against Ryanair after the IALPA/IMPACT unions failed to attend a scheduled hearing at the labour court today.
IALPA/IMPACT hoped to use the Industrial Relations Acts of 2001 and 2004 to show Ryanair was underpaying its Dublin pilots.
Ryanair, however, always maintained that the legislation did not apply to high pay multi-national companies such as itself. Ryanair won a Supreme Court case against IALPA/IMPACT last February
'It is time that the trade unions in Ireland recognised that they have no role to play in high pay multi-national companies like Ryanair,' Ryanair's Eddie Wilson said in a statement.
IMPACT's Michael Landers said the union saw the ruling 'as no more than a temporary set back'.
