NetJets USA
Nine years with NJA, 8 as PIC.
2007 gross = $170k, + 50% 401k match to IRS limits, + company pays full family medical/loss of license/short and long term disability.
I worked some of the year scheduled on 7-on-7-off, some on 18-day-per-month- my choice. Fly from home -105 US cities.
3 vacation periods/yr, 21 days each. Paid uniform, medical exams, public holidays, first-day show before 0800 local.
Sellback of vacation/12 days annual paid sick leave could take it close to $200k in 2008 for those that want to work that hard...
Flew 220 hours in 2007. However, I`m a check airman- line guys on my fleet were doing from 350-500hrs...
In the US, take home is what you make it- and for most of us, the creative deductions keep us from getting whacked quite as hard as EU residents
Thanks to a strong union and professional, empowered membership, the work environment`s mostly all good, and the new contract has been ratified to 2014- we shall see...

Acocording to this income calculator http://www.cwjobs.co.uk/Contents/IncomeCalculators.aspx
An annual salary in the UK of £120,000 would mean you take home £6,372 after tax each month. Are you telling me your salary is £120k at Ryanair?

I posted my salary for December to show you naysayers, doom-mongers and mudslingers that there is at least one good thing to be said for Ryanair. I am in no way trying to defend the T&Cs but if you work the busy roster that I had, four days leave included, plus the fact that I worked on two days off, you can at least be well rewarded for it. Sorry to disillusion you but there it is.
Nuageblanc, If you want to be a complete and tell a tax consultant about me then feel free, I hope they charge you for their time. If you think I am such a dumb**** that I avoid paying all the tax due on my salary, then think again. I suggest you do a search on my previous posts to see my attitude to the subject of tax avoidance. I think I know who the dumb**** is in this instance.
My salary is not £120.000 a year but the thread refers to a monthly income. As mentioned, I worked on two off days which are well rewarded in Ryanair, for FOs and Captains alike.
My take home for a normal month will likely be around £5800.
I will let you know.
