pay offer from the management that falls well short of what is reasonable
I say again Count, tell us what the offer is that falls well short of what is reasonable so we can all decide????? You clearly know what the most recent offer is so how about letting us ALL know what is going on. The offer is NOT on the BALPA website.

Fuzzy,

There have been 2 dispatches from Balpa. The first had some indication of a slightly improved offer, and the second stated that some clarification would be needed before being issued to members. Further, higher level, meeting to take place this week.

Final Offer Rejected

Things just got a whole lot more complicated at bmi

Pilots have rejected the 'Final Offer' by 70% to 30%

What happens next?

Perhaps you could explain what you want them to do - particularly in view of the strength of the rejection?

Rumour on another thread is that Mainline have accepted 1.5%.

Is this correct?

I see from the "Terms and Endearment" forum that baby have accepted a deal for 2004.

How are the Mainliners doing in their 2004 negotiations?

This wouldn`t be an attempt to stir up a little bit of unrest would it?? I know its been a while since acbus1 has had a dig at bmi, but I really cannot see him rejoining especially with all the other "better" companies out there who would benefit from his valuable, reasoned opinions and loyal services!

I say, steady on old chap!

I'd rather go on the streets!

But maybe all the peeps who've followed this thread and contributed to it may appreciate a little summary of the final outcome.

That's all I ask, please.

Don't you welcome the interest?

I won't even pass comment, unless clarification is needed (the baby thread was hard work in that respect)..........must be getting soft in my middle age.

No reply to my last, so can't have been much of a 2004 pay deal or we'd have had it in neon lettering by now.

Still, almost a year of strike threats has achieved one thing.......the bmi management now know (as if they did'nt already) that BALPA will never really support a bmi workforce strike.

Sad.

Just a reminder.........the 2005 pay deal is due in wage packets right now.

Better not ask how that's going.........don't want to be accused of stirring, do I?

Maybe we'll hear in......ooh......twelve months? Then again, based upon the conclusion to this thread, there ain't much point taking any interest in the first place.

perhaps the reason for no replies is that no one is interested in pathetic attempts to try and rabble rouse by a disgruntled EX "employee"
